A day to pause.
And look at the woman you have become.

Not the version the world expected of you...
The one life shaped.
The one you shaped.

Being a woman means carrying strength and softness in one heart.

You know how to hold both.
You stayed when love asked for patience.
You left when your truth asked for courage.
You learned when life gave you lessons you never asked for.
You kept loving… even after disappointment.

You built yourself step by step.

Through choices.
Through heartbreak.
Through laughter with friends at a kitchen table.
Through quiet nights asking yourself honest questions.

And now here you are, beautiful woman.

𝐓𝐡𝐞 𝐦𝐨𝐦𝐞𝐧𝐭 𝐰𝐞 𝐝𝐨𝐧’𝐭 𝐭𝐚𝐥𝐤 𝐚𝐛𝐨𝐮𝐭

You see each other.

Not as “bride” and “groom.”
Not as the couple everyone is staring at.

Just you two.

And then comes the question:

How do we greet each other?

Do we hug?
Do we kiss?
Do we wait & stand there till Wendy speaks?
Do we act surprised?
What the *x+-*xx should we do?

Let me tell you something.

There is no ceremony police hiding behind the arch, under the chairs or with your guests.

If you want to kiss before ‘the first kiss”, then KISS.
Kissing is goooood :)

If you want to melt into a long hug, the give a warm hug.
I am the first one cheering.
I am a big hugger, I hug everyone, haha.

If you just want to touch hands for one second and breathe together

That is enough too.

Some couples jump into each other’s arms.
Some whisper something that I can’t hear.
Some cry.
Some laugh.
Some freeze and forget the world exists.

All of it OK
All of it is perfect.

Let that meeting set the tone.

For you.
We are not in a theatre show.
This is your commitment & your moment.

And you know what?
It is good if you forgot the rules and remember yourself.
Your love.

So if you are doubting:

No, it does not “matter” in the traditional sense.
There is no universal correct way.

What matters is this:

- Does it feel like you?
- Does your body relax when you do it?
- Does it bring you closer together instead of making you perform?

That’s your answer.

We are on Ibiza.
We breathe.
We feel.
We choose love without pressure.

You don’t need to impress anyone in that first second.

𝐈 𝐥𝐨𝐯𝐞 𝐭𝐡𝐢𝐬 𝐦𝐨𝐦𝐞𝐧𝐭

The moment before I begin.

Because this is what everything leads to.

Long before your wedding day, I sit alone with your story.
Your answers. Your memories.
The things that almost broke you.
The things that made you choose each other again.

I write.
And then I rewrite.

And yes… I can go a little crazy with it.
Changing one word.
Moving one sentence.
Like a 1000 times

I’m quite perfectionistic when I write.
I want it to feel exactly like you.
I want the words to land.

Sometimes I can only do a few hours.
Then I need to step away.
Come back the next day.
See it with fresh eyes.
And then again & again.

Writing really stretches me...

And many hours behind the Pc.

But speaking…

Speaking feels like coming home.

The moment I stand there, something relaxes.
I stop thinking about words & grammar.

I start feeling you.
Your guests.
Your faces.
Your nerves.
The energy in the air.

And then it just flows.
No more editing.

Just your story, alive under the Ibiza sun.

That’s why I love this picture.

It feels like the bridge moment.
From all those quiet hours behind my laptop…
To the moment I can give your love a voice.

To the moment I will lead you into your ‘yes’

That’s why I do this.

Your ceremony on the magical island💚

𝐍𝐨 𝐬𝐜𝐫𝐢𝐩𝐭. 𝐉𝐮𝐬𝐭 𝐚 𝐦𝐚𝐧, 𝐚 𝐦𝐢𝐜𝐫𝐨𝐩𝐡𝐨𝐧𝐞, 𝐚𝐧𝐝 𝐡𝐢𝐬 𝐡𝐞𝐚𝐫𝐭.

Before she walked in, he took the microphone.
And he sang.

It was not perfect.
It was pure and super spontaneous...

You could feel his nerves soften.

Everyone smiled.
Everyone got excited.
Everyone cheered him on.

And just like that, the ceremony had already begun.

This is what I love so much.
When couples choose their way.
Their energy.
Their moment.

Lola & Erik move through life like travellers who know the way by heart.
Sand from the places they loved most.

Georgia & Tom wanted to say their ‘I do’s’ on the island they love so much.

They are getting married in the UK too, and will have a big wedding with friends & family.
