one year ago, we celebrated Christina & Justin

what a beautiful day it was…

two of the sweetest, kindest, happiest people

and, above all, two people so deeply in love

everything about that day felt beautiful, not only visually, but in the way it all came together

the people
the emotions

the light
the spaces

the flowers
the smallest details

everything seemed to flow so naturally, until all those different elements became one

Your wedding palette should never start with a trend.

Color is one of the elements we work with when designing a wedding.

textures matter/ materials matter / shapes matter
But colour is what gives them personality.

It can take us somewhere — to a place, a memory, a feeling.

For Laura and Oli, we built a palette around the places and feelings that mattered to them:
sand, natural stone, the Mediterranean, the sea,
and the warm glow of an African sunset.

Every color was chosen with intention, reflecting what they love, what they wanted to feel, and ultimately, what they wanted their wedding to communicate.

That’s where we always start.

There’s something special about starting with nothing.
An empty venue.
A vision.

And slowly, layer by layer, it starts to become something.

A little like painting a canvas.
Or creating a recipe.

You start with the essentials, make choices along the way, add, adjust and refine.

A texture.
A flower.
A piece of fabric.
A candle.
A detail you might not notice on its own, but that changes the whole picture.

Behind every element, there are hands, creativity, time and intention.

The couple usually sees the final result:
the painting hanging on the wall,
the table set,
the cake ready to be cut.

But what’s harder to see is everything that happens before that moment /
the ideas, the decisions, the adjustments and all the little details that slowly bring it to life.

A conversation with a couple recently left me thinking.

After months of planning, they found themselves looking for a new wedding planner just a few months before their wedding.

And it reminded me of something I don’t think we talk about enough.

The wedding industry is full of beautiful aesthetics, but aesthetics and professionalism are not the same thing.

A wedding planner isn’t just someone with good taste. It’s someone you trust with your time, your investment, your emotions and one of the most important days of your life.

Beautiful design catches your eye. But the experience stays with you forever.

a cake moment, but make it art

A single-tier cake / generous, almost sculptural.
Almond sablé, cream, red fruits.

Paired with a ch*****ne tower in the same palette, bringing cohesion to the full scene.
Rich textures, subtle rococo references, balanced with a fresh and effortless feel.

Nothing was overdone. A moment designed to feel natural, fluid and real.

Luxury, with soul. And they did the rest.
