Some days at work really don’t feel like work at all. ✨

This week, we had the tasting with Exclusive Catering for one of our weddings taking place at the end of August here on Mallorca — and honestly, we were completely blown away.

I brought my mum, my best friend Nils, and of course my new dog Amani along for the experience, and every single dish was absolutely incredible. The canapés were not only delicious, they looked like little pieces of art. The tapas, the main courses… everything was full of flavour, beautifully presented, and crafted with so much attention to detail.

But the absolute culinary highlight of the day was the White Chocolate Cheesecake. We are still talking about it. It was simply perfection.

I was already so excited for this wedding because we have such an amazing team of vendors involved — but after this tasting, I’m looking forward to it even more.

This little video is just a tiny glimpse into one of the really beautiful parts of my dream job as a wedding planner on Mallorca. 🤍

Yesterday we discovered a truly special place here in Mallorca — a hidden gem that has been in the same family for four generations and only recently opened its doors for weddings.

I was completely blown away. From the moment you arrive, surrounded by horses and endless countryside, to the soft sound of sheep bells in the distance… it feels like stepping into a different world. The views are wide and peaceful, the gardens are simply beautiful, with a charming fountain at the heart of it all.

What makes it even more unique is the versatility of the estate — multiple stunning areas for ceremony, dinner and celebration, all within this authentic, deeply Mallorcan setting.

It’s intimate, soulful and still wonderfully undiscovered. With accommodation for up to 35 guests in beautifully designed rooms, it’s perfect for a truly personal wedding experience.

Honestly, I would have booked it for my own wedding on the spot.

The countdown is officially on.

My wedding season kicks off on May 30th with two weddings in one day here in Mallorca, and from there it just keeps going. This year is going to be something really special. So many beautiful and very different weddings, mostly here on the island, and I honestly can’t wait to bring them all to life.

Right now it’s all about the final details, the last fine-tuning with my couples. At the same time, new couples for next year keep coming in, which makes me incredibly happy.

And very soon, this space will be filled again with fresh, new wedding moments, new designs, and lots of inspiration from the upcoming celebrations.

The past weeks have been especially intense. I recently took on two additional weddings for this season, both on very short notice. In one case, the planner had disappeared, and in the other, the couple was simply not happy with how things were going. In both situations, almost nothing had been organized apart from the venue.

I decided to take on the challenge and pull everything together in a very short time, finding the right people and creating something truly special so these couples can still have their dream weddings in Mallorca.

It’s been intense, challenging, and honestly quite exciting. And now everything is in place.

Last week I looked through the gallery from Emily and Anthony’s wedding again and it reminded me why this is still one of my favorite weddings from last year.

They traveled from the US to Barcelona together with their closest family and friends and celebrated with a group of 44 people. From the very beginning Emily and Anthony were such a warm, genuine and incredibly likeable couple, which made the entire experience even more special.

The photos were taken by my friend and assistant Secil and going through them again I realized how many beautiful moments I did not fully take in the first time. Sometimes you need a bit of distance to really see everything.

While revisiting the gallery I came across these two photos of Emily and me that I had not really noticed before. I wanted to share them because for me they reflect something that is at the core of my work, a very personal, warm and caring connection with my brides.

The wedding itself was stunning. The ceremony took place in a church in Sitges right by the sea with a beautiful view over the water. Afterwards we had a very intimate and beautifully styled dinner in a traditional masia in the hills behind Sitges, which was the perfect setting for the evening.

It was one of those weddings where everything just felt right. The people, the atmosphere, the energy. I am truly grateful that they trusted me to create this beautiful wedding.

A few impressions from my latest shooting with Philipp 🤍
Together with my dogs and my newest little addition, Amani, who has been with me for five weeks now.

These images capture so much of what my life here in Mallorca feels like. The light, the calm, the freedom and this very special lifestyle that I truly cherish every day.

Looking back, I’m really grateful that I took the leap two and a half years ago and moved from Barcelona to Mallorca. It was one of the best decisions I’ve made and I feel incredibly happy and at home here.

Now I’m also very much looking forward to the upcoming wedding season. It’s about to start soon and I can’t wait for everything that’s ahead.

Gemeinsam mit meinen Hunden und meinem neuesten Familienmitglied, Amani, die seit fünf Wochen bei mir ist.

Diese Bilder spiegeln so sehr das Lebensgefühl wider, das ich hier auf Mallorca jeden Tag genieße. Das Licht, die Ruhe, die Freiheit und dieser ganz besondere Lifestyle.

Rückblickend bin ich unglaublich dankbar, dass ich vor zweieinhalb Jahren den Schritt gewagt habe und von Barcelona nach Mallorca gezogen bin. Es war eine der besten Entscheidungen meines Lebens und ich fühle mich hier sehr glücklich und angekommen.

Jetzt freue ich mich auch sehr auf die kommende Hochzeitssaison. Es geht bald los und ich kann es kaum erwarten, was alles vor mir liegt.

Sie haben mich gefragt, ob ich mitmachen möchte — und ich habe Ja gesagt.
»Me Myself Mallorca« begleitet fünf deutsche Frauen, die ihr Leben auf Mallorca aufgebaut haben. Beruflich. Und ganz persönlich.
Ab dem 24. März in der ARD Mediathek. Sechs Folgen. Und ich bin dabei.
Nicht nur als Hochzeitsplanerin, die seit über siebzehn Jahren die schönsten Momente im Leben anderer Menschen gestaltet. Sondern auch als Annika — die, die ausgewandert ist, die hier angekommen ist, und die auch die ganz private Seite zeigt. Das hat Mut gekostet. Und ich bin froh, dass ich ihn hatte.
Den ersten Ausschnitt könnt ihr hier sehen — mehr habe ich selbst auch noch nicht gesehen. Ich bin sehr gespannt, wie er bei euch ankommt. 💕
Danke für all die warmen Nachrichten der letzten Tage. Die haben mir den letzten kleinen Schubs gegeben, das auch hier zu teilen.
Ein ganz besonderer Dank gilt meinen Freunden und meinen Brautpaaren, die mitgewirkt haben und die Dreharbeiten ermöglicht haben — das ist nicht selbstverständlich und ich bin euch so dankbar dafür. 🤍
Und wer weiß — vielleicht drehen wir diesen Sommer schon die zweite Staffel. 😊

Am 24.03. ist es soweit: Die Doku-Serie Me Myself Mallorca startet in der ARD Mediathek – und ich bin ein Teil davon.

In der Serie werde ich nicht nur als Hochzeitsplanerin auf Mallorca begleitet, sondern auch als Privatperson. Es geht um meinen Alltag, meine Arbeit – aber auch um persönliche Themen, Gedanken und Momente, die man sonst vielleicht nicht direkt sieht.

Für mich war es definitiv ein Schritt aus der Komfortzone, weil ich normalerweise nicht gerne vor der Kamera stehe. Umso ehrlicher und unverstellter ist das Ganze geworden – teilweise auch persönlicher und emotionaler, als ich es erwartet hätte.

Ich bin sehr neugierig, wie es euch gefällt.

Ein großes Dankeschön an alle, die Teil davon waren – und an meine wunderbaren Brautpaare, die mich auf diesem Weg begleitet haben.

An intimate destination wedding at Lake Garda, Italy.
Just 38 guests, gathered around one long table overlooking the water, surrounded by warm candlelight and the soft glow of chandeliers as the sun slowly set behind the mountains.

Lately I’ve found myself appreciating smaller weddings more and more. When the guest list is intimate, the entire celebration feels different. There’s time to truly connect, to have real conversations, to share long dinners, laughter, and quiet moments with the people who matter most.

This wedding felt incredibly special for exactly that reason. A beautiful group of people, a breathtaking view of Lake Garda, and an atmosphere that was relaxed, emotional, and full of genuine joy.

Sometimes less really is more. And evenings like this are the perfect reminder of that.
