For all our entertainers…
and for all those people who, even on their hardest days, still keep making others smile.
There is something only people who have worked in entertainment truly understand:
Many times, while we are making others laugh…
inside, we are fighting our own battles.
And even so…
we step onto the stage.
We turn on the music.
We dance.
We entertain.
We smile.
And we keep the atmosphere alive.
In entertainment, there is an invisible rule that almost nobody talks about:
The show can never stop.
While an entertainer is trying to leave a bad day behind… they start an activity as if nothing happened.
While someone is physically and emotionally exhausted… they still transmit energy to hundreds of people.
While inside they are trying to hold themselves together… outside they have to hold together the atmosphere of an entire hotel.
And the curious thing is that most guests never even imagine it.
They only see music.
Laughter.
Games.
Shows.
Good nights.
Good vibes.
But behind every activity…
there are people making an enormous effort so others can disconnect from their problems, even when they still have not been able to disconnect from their own.
Maybe that is why entertainment is not just a job.
It is a form of emotional dedication that very few people truly understand.
And those of us who have spent years in this world know one thing:
Sometimes, even on the hardest days…
the show must go on.
