2025 ඔක්තෝබර් 12 වන දින සිට, යුරෝපීය රටවල් 29 ක් නව ඇතුල්වීමේ/පිටවීමේ පද්ධතිය (EES) ක්රියාත්මක කරනු ඇති අතර, එය දේශසීමා වල ජෛවමිතික දත්ත රැස් කිරීම සඳහා සාම්ප්රදායික විදේශ ගමන් බලපත්ර Stamps හුවමාරු කර ගනී.
දේශසීමා පාලනය නවීකරණය කිරීම, ඇතුළුවීම වේගවත් කිරීම සහ ආරක්ෂාව වැඩි කිරීම අරමුණු කරගත් මෙම පද්ධතිය සංචාරකයින්ගේ දත්ත ඉලෙක්ට්රොනිකව නිරීක්ෂණය කරනු ඇත. කෙසේ වෙතත්, මෙයින් අදහස් කරන්නේ සංචාරක සිහිවටන ලෙස තවදුරටත් physical stamps නොමැති බවයි.
මෙම වෙනස සංචාරක ලියකියවිලිවල සැලකිය යුතු වෙනසක් සනිටුහන් කරමින් ප්රංශය, ජර්මනිය, ඉතාලිය, ස්පාඤ්ඤය, ග්රීසිය, ස්විට්සර්ලන්තය සහ තවත් බොහෝ දේ ඇතුළුව යුරෝපයේ බොහෝ ප්රදේශ ආවරණය කරනු ඇත.
Starting October 12, 2025, 29 European countries will roll out the new Entry/Exit System (EES), swapping traditional passport stamps for biometric data collection at borders.
Aimed at modernizing border control, speeding up entry, and boosting security, the system will track travelers’ data electronically. However, this means no more physical stamps as trip mementos.
The change will cover much of Europe, including France, Germany, Italy, Spain, Greece, Switzerland, and more, marking a significant shift in travel documentation.
