The fishing town of Lastres, is one of the most beautiful and typical towns of Asturian coast, as well as considered one of the most beautiful village of Spain 😀

Its traditional houses and cobbled streets head down to the sea combining the sea with the majestic Sueve Range views.

You can admire a beautiful panoramic view of Lastres and its beaches from the San Roque Scenic Balcony, situated at the highest part of the town.
The old part of the town accommodates some emblematic buildings as the Church of Santa María de Sábada, which is a reflection of the importance of seafaring life in this town.
And don´t miss the opportunity to visit the harbour, where fishing life is centred, with the wholesale fish market and the daily work of artisan.

Last week we had the opportunity to make one of the most spectacular routes in Catalonia! Congost de Montrebei 😀
This pathway is located in Lleida (250Km from Barcelona) and it offers two different routes for its visitors, one of 3,5 Km and the largest one of 9 Kms. With a maximum height of 500 meters, the route follows the river Noguera Ribagorzana.

An experience full of landscapes and adrenaline that will not leave you indifferent !

Walk the canyon through the rock-dug route, cross a hanging bridge over 40 meters over the river or reach the top of the canyon up a stairs on the cliff.

If you prefer, you can enjoy a tour with another perspective, from the river with kayak!

CALÇOTS SEASON in Catalonia! (31/01/18)

We would like to suggest you an untypical day, full of flavours!
As every year during winter season its time of “calçots”, the grilled sweet onions and its delicious sauce.
The biggest event related to the “calçots” is “The Great Feast of the Calçotada" celebrated in Valls (Tarragona), on last weekend of January and which it marks the beginning of the season of the traditional calçotades.
Eat as much “calçots” as you can in a Catalan house “Masia”, where you can see how they roast the onions, prepare a barbeque with sausages, chicken, rib pork, etc.. and all well watered with Penedes wines.
A tasty culinary tradition combining perfectly the nature and the beautiful landscapes with the Gastronomy near Barcelona.
