Dutch. I have always been passionate about photography and traveling. I never miss a chance to take my camera on a trip to immortalise great moments and locations. Just about a year later, I received my diploma with the note “excellent”! Since then, I’ve been working on a variety of projects, however both my specialties and passions are Wedding, People and Lifestyle photography in all its aspects. A milestone I’m incredibly proud of 🤍

I’m honoured to share that I’ve officially become a member of The Lane.

For those unfamiliar, The Lane is one of the world’s leading design-led wedding platforms, bringing together a carefully curated selection of photographers, planners, florists, venues and creative professionals who share a timeless, editorial approach to weddings.

To have my work recognised and selected by a platform I’ve admired for years is truly an honour. Knowing that my vision aligns with theirs and joining such an inspiring community of talented creatives is a something I’ll always be grateful for.

Hay parejas que sueñan con una boda bonita. Julia y Claudia soñaban con una fiesta que nadie olvidara jamás.

Querían emocionarse hasta las lágrimas, abrazar a quienes más quieren, brindar una y otra vez, perder la noción del tiempo y acabar bailando como si el mundo se hubiera detenido solo para ellas.

Y así fue.

El día comenzó entre vestidos colgados junto a las ventanas, nervios, primeras miradas y sonrisas que ya anunciaban todo lo que estaba por venir. La ceremonia estuvo llena de emoción. Bastaba mirar alrededor para entender que su historia también era la historia de todas las personas que las habían acompañado hasta aquí. Hubo lágrimas sinceras, manos que se buscaban, abrazos interminables y miradas que decían mucho más que cualquier discurso.

Pero Julia y Claudia tenían muy claro que aquello solo era el principio.

Después llegaron las copas al sol, la charanga, las carcajadas, los amigos cantando a pleno pulmón, las gafas imposibles, el toro mecánico, el humo, la pista de baile llena desde el primer minuto, las sillas por los aires y esa energía contagiosa que hacía imposible quedarse quieto.

Porque algunas bodas terminan cuando empieza la fiesta.

La suya empezó de verdad en ese momento.

Y, entre todo el ruido, las canciones y la locura, siempre ocurría lo mismo: ellas volvían a encontrarse. Como si, por un instante, el resto del mundo desapareciera.

Gracias, Julia y Claudia, por confiar en mí para contar una historia tan auténtica, tan divertida y tan llena de vida. Ojalá nunca dejéis de celebrar vuestro amor con esa misma intensidad. 🤍

Some weddings are beautiful because of the place. Others because of the people.

Caroline and Yannick’s day was both.

Together with their two daughters, they celebrated a day that reflected exactly who they are. Yannick, serving both in the military and as a firefighter, has dedicated his life to protecting others. Caroline, deeply involved in the Carnival Club of Hergenrath, is someone who brings people together wherever she goes.

As they stepped out of the church as husband and wife, they weren’t just greeted by applause. Fire trucks lined the streets, colleagues stood proudly in uniform, and members of the carnival club welcomed them with the warmth and joy only a close community can create. It was a reception that could only belong to them.

Between the grand moments were the quiet ones: stolen glances, little hands reaching for mum and dad, laughter echoing through the halls, and a love that already felt like home long before this day.

Weddings like these are a reminder that the most beautiful stories aren’t written in perfect timelines, they’re built over years, surrounded by the people who have been there all along.
