The idea is simple but the resu

lts are spectacular. Our award winning kitchen team at the Millbrook like nothing
more than escaping the confines of our tiny kitchen, hitting the road and cooking in some extraordinary
places. Having cooked on rocky headlands on private beaches, in working agricultural barns and boatsheds
we hit on the name wherevernext when a friend exclaimed exactly that...and so wherevernext was born. Whether you own or know of a fabulous location, or prefer us to come up with a location, do
get in touch. We are just as interested in a Dining event for two on the end of a jetty as we are in
a grand get together.

Bold, soulful, multicultural comfort food.
Think Creole, Hindustani and Javanese all rolled into one and you'll get the idea. A melting pot of big bold flavours.

Sunday 24th May
The Rijsttafel is a uniquely Dutch-Indonesian dining tradition.
16 separate dishes delivering a
Celebratory, immersive and sensory experience that reflects its colonial history, adaptation, and how Indonesian food became inseparable from Dutch identity.

Very, very happy with our 2025 liquid gold.

Some fun facts:
- the earlier the pick, the stronger the flavour
- 27/11 is our earliest pick yet.
- 3100 kgs 60/40 mix of picudo/hojiblanca
olives.
- harvested at 850m/2780ft above sea level
- cold pressed at a local independent mill.
- producing a staggering 350 litres of
unfiltered, non- invasively sprayed,single
estate, extra virgin olive oil.

What fun we have had over the past 3 weeks and once again the magnificent Finca Avedin has played the backdrop for an amazing sequence of pilates and yoga retreats.

As always it is the sum of the parts that make our experience unforgettable.

From Victoria and her house management team. To Anya, Holly and Lauren, our retreat hosts, to the lovely Natalia, our kitchen help and of course the many many guests that have made our time again at Avedin so enjoyable
