A message to our couples and to anyone planning a Tenerife wedding 💛
You may have seen distressing news today about another wedding company on the island ceasing to trade, with couples left without venues and without their deposits. Our hearts genuinely go out to everyone affected — it’s the nightmare scenario, and we’re already hearing from couples scrambling to salvage their plans.
We want to take a moment to reassure our own couples, and to be transparent about how we work, because that matters more than ever right now:
• My Perfect Day Tenerife is trading as normal. Every wedding, proposal and event on our books is going ahead.
• We are a small, team — Gail & Tracey living and working here in Tenerife. You can reach us, meet us, and our venue partners know us personally.
• we offer our couples to pay venues directly. We don’t sit on large sums of client money for things we then have to pay on to suppliers.
• Our relationships with venues like Hard Rock Hotel, GF Hoteles, Vincci, MYND Adeje and others are long-standing and direct. Your booking is your booking.
If you’re a couple currently booked with us and you’d like reassurance, please reach out — we’ll happily walk you through your specific arrangements.
