The evening of Yoga and Music Night at Seeds is coming and we are happy to introduce you to our yin yoga instructor Masha Vayman. She will take you into a deep yin hip and heart opening practice on the 15th of July.
We are sharing Masha’s story and her vision of practicing Yin Yoga:
“I’ve been travelling for 8 years by now, 2 of them teaching yoga. My personal yoga journey began around 14 years ago. First several years it was pure exploration, with one step forward two steps back most of the times. I was lucky to meet wonderful teachers, who guided me to listen to myself in the present moment and move towards a desirable achievement steadily, but gently. This is how I gradually started practicing on my own, and after years realized that I feel like it's time to start sharing. In 2020 I got certified and started hosting classes.
I myself practice different styles of yoga and my journey started with Hatha, not Yin. Yin yoga became a part of my daily practice when I was recovering from injuries and was looking for a practice that will bring back mobility, joy of movement and ease into my body. Yin became an amazing discovery for myself a has been teaching me a lot on and off the mat. The most important part in the practice to me is to listen to the body, to get to know what you actually need in the present, rather than what you think you need, and to start responding to it.
Yoga is a powerful tool to get into your physical, emotional, mental and spiritual bodies in their union, opening up, developing flexibility, resilience and strength on all these levels. Step by step”
