الدور الأول - مصر
بدأت الحكاية عام 2003، حين اجتمع مجموعة من الأصدقاء كل ليلة في شقة صغيرة بوسط القاهرة في الطابق الأول، ليتدربوا ويعزفوا معًا على أمل تكوين فرقة موسيقية. وعندما تحقق الحلم، أطلقوا على مشروعهم اسم “الدور الأول” تكريمًا لتلك البدايات البسيطة.
اليوم تُعد الفرقة من أبرز المشاريع الموسيقية الرائدة في مصر، بموسيقاها التي تمزج بين الجاز واللحن الشرقي، وبروحها الأصيلة التي جذبت جماهير من مختلف الثقافات حول العالم 🌍🎵

It all began in 2003, when a group of friends gathered every night in a small first-floor flat in downtown Cairo to jam, experiment, and chase a dream. When that dream became reality, they named their project “El Dor El Awal” — “The First Floor” — in tribute to where it all started.
Blending jazz with Oriental melodies, the band stands as one of Egypt’s most influential and beloved musical projects, captivating audiences locally and internationally 🌍🎷
