Hablemos de las flores en una boda desde la perspectiva de una wedding planner, estos serían mis 5 consejos más importantes sobre flores para una boda:

1. No necesitas flores en todas partes

Uno de los errores más comunes es pensar que una boda se ve más bonita mientras más flores tenga. No necesariamente. Es mejor invertir en puntos estratégicos: ceremonia, mesa de novios, centro de mesas y algún elemento protagonista.

2. Define primero el estilo, después las flores

Antes de escoger “quiero rosas” o “quiero orquídeas”, define la sensación que quieres crear: romántica, tropical, elegante, orgánica, moderna, editorial…
Las flores deben apoyar el concepto general de la boda, no ser el concepto completo.

3. El presupuesto importa más que la cantidad

Dos bodas pueden tener el mismo presupuesto floral y verse completamente diferentes. La clave está en cómo se distribuye el dinero. Una instalación floral espectacular en un solo punto puede tener mucho más impacto visual que pequeños arreglos repartidos por todo el evento.

4. Sé flexible con las flores de temporada

Si tienes una flor específica que amas, perfecto. Pero si estás organizando una destination wedding en República Dominicana, dale libertad a tu florista para sustituir flores que no estén disponibles o tengan un precio desproporcionado. Muchas veces una combinación inesperada termina siendo incluso más bonita.

5. No olvides el follaje y los elementos no florales

Una boda espectacular no tiene que ser una “pared de flores”. Follaje, ramas, velas, frutas, textiles, estructuras y diferentes alturas pueden aportar muchísimo diseño y hacer que las flores tengan más presencia.

No se trata de tener más flores. Se trata de saber dónde ponerlas para que tengan el mayor impacto.
