Sometimes life teaches us lessons in the funniest ways. 😅
A few ago, I visited a hotel and greeted the receptionist—a young guy, probably about 21. I pulled out my notebook... not a fancy leather planner, just a simple exercise book. He laughed so hard and kept saying, "That's your notebook? That's your notebook?" over and over.
At the time, I didn't find it funny. I thought he was being rude.
Now, every so often, that moment comes back to me, and I smile.
After 15 years in business, I've learned to focus on the big things—building my businesses, serving my clients, and creating opportunities. But that memory reminds me that the little things matter too. The way we present ourselves, the details we overlook, and even the impressions we leave can open or close doors.
The lesson? Never stop growing. Success isn't only about the big achievements; it's also about improving the small things along the way. And while people may judge you by what they see, don't let that stop you from chasing your dreams. Keep learning, keep evolving, and keep showing up.
Looking back, I can laugh now... and I'm grateful for the lesson. ❤️
