Thank you to everyone who joined Curious Minds #6 ✨

It was so great to see so many curious people in the room! both familiar faces and many first-timers.🤩

And obviously a special thanks to our speakers.

Olena Machula shared insights from her experience training horses. Through the horse, an animal both incredibly sensitive and intimidating, she showed how working with them requires calmness, clarity, and trust. Horses taught her how to stay calm, stand firm, and set boundaries, qualities that are just as valuable when working with people as they are when working with horses.

Jesper Olsen shared how "The Neverending Story" inspired him during difficult moments of his life. Through unpublished illustrations and reflections on the story, he showed how narratives can help us navigate chaotic phases of life. Drawing on his experience as a designer and teacher, he developed a board game to explore these ideas together with friends, and he presented it to us during the evening!

Events like this only exist because all of you who show up with curiosity and openness!
Thank you again for being part of this community! ♥️

Looking forward to the next one!

It has already been three weeks, but we haven’t forgotten!
We’re happy to share some pictures from Curious Minds #5 and to say a huge thank you to our two inspiring speakers 🙌

They brought their genuine passions and personal experiences to all of us. They were truly inspiring and sparked a lot of Curiosity within the walls of Spinderihallerne.

Ireneusz Szczesny took us On the Search for Happiness, reflecting on meaning, resilience, relationships, and how happiness is something we cultivate through our actions and values. He also shared powerful book recommendations and personal stories from his journey.

Christina Keller shared The Power of Storytelling, showing how stories shape empathy, memory, and connection, and how active participation, such as tabletop role-playing games, can create meaningful shared experiences.

We are grateful for their openness and energy and for everyone who joined us!

We hope you’re as excited as we are for what’s coming next.
Aaand you won’t have to wait long: Curious Minds #6 is next week, and the new speakers have just been revealed. Go check them out.
Stay curious ✨

✨Thank you so much to everyone who joined our final event of the year!

Your energy, curiosity, and support are what make this community special! ❤️

Thank you to Johannes Tscharn with his amazing presentation “What the hell is a Hackathon?”:
Johannes demystified hackathons as welcoming, chaotic, and deeply human: you arrive somewhere new, meet strangers, and create something unexpected together in a couple of days. He illustrated the strength of iteration over perfection (better making 10000 iterations than 10000 hours) and reminded us that creativity grows when we are driven by curiosity!

Thank you to Sarah Trahan, for the revealing presentation “Hand & Machine”:
Sarah showed how her artistic practice begins with a simple “what if?” and unfolds across tools, from collage and AI to 3D printing and ceramics. She shared her evolution from early AI collaborators to museum-shown sculptures and now to innovative ceramic forms blending Iron Age inspiration, digital tools, and human handcraft. A powerful look at how technology can expand (not replace) creative expression.
She left us with a vision of craft where experimentation stays alive, and where artists shape the future of the tools they use.

and thank you all for being part of this journey!
Curious Minds returns after the winter break! Ready to build an even more vibrant 2026 together with you!

Huge thanks to everyone who joined us for Curious Minds #3! 🌟

A special shoutout to our wonderful speakers:

✨ Kathrin Schaller, who inspired us with her insights on the Circle of Women, exploring the ancient and modern magic of women’s circles and reminding us how important it is for women to carve out time for themselves and support one another. Here the link to their monthly meetings: https://facebook.com/groups/711864197651090/

✨ Furkan Cetin, who opened the door to the world of modularity in design and shared a sneak peek of his fascinating Redo toys project, an open-source platform that could redefine how we think about play and making. He also presented several prototypes he has been developing over the past years. A truly exciting project in motion! go check him out and his projects! http://play.redo.toys/

✨Costin George Benescu, who brought us on an incredible journey through a life powered by curiosity, from the inspirations that shaped him, to the meaningful encounters that guided his path, all the way to how curiosity continues to fuel both his personal and professional projects. We also had the pleasure of seeing some of his work in toy design, one of his many creative curiosities! Discover more of his creations on www.alienapestar.com

Thank you all for making it such an inspiring night.
See you at Curious Minds #4 on the 9th of December! ✨
