Thank you to everyone who came by and supported our Thaiboxing event. We are very pleased that it was a success and hope that in the future we can draw more attention to this sport that can teach a lot about respect, discipline and humility. Especially for children and young people who can help shape them into better people - both inside and out.
For our event, European Open 2019, we held Thaiboxing matches for both kids, junior and seniors. All matches were WBC diploma matches and the last three were WBC National Titel fights.
The awards were given from the WBC Muay Thai Association which we are very grateful for.
We would therefore also like to thank Mikenta Denmark Fight Gym (Steffen Weise) who came from Copenhagen with talented fighters. And we would also like to thank Klaus Hagemann and his team, Rico Elze & Janine Schilling Geb Gericke who came all the way from Germany to support as judges for the event. We would also like to thank Bahram Saljooghi who came all the way from Iran to as an Official and Referee for the title matches. Thank you to Krutoy Muaythai who also came as a WBC Supervisor and Referee. Also a big hug and thanks to Foto Trine for the amazing photos. Thanks to Henrik Westergaard & Anders Sigfred for the graphic work, posters and fightcards up to the event. Lastly, we would like to thank Pia Rezazadeh & Morteza M. Safai for preparing and coaching the kids, find opponents, weigh in and matchmake all the fighters ahead and during the day of the event. Thanks to all the volunteers who helped and friends and family that came by to support.
