Moterų vokalinis ansamblis „Guboja” 🎶 is a vibrant and heartfelt collective from Palanga, united by a love for song. Founded in 1975 as the Women’s Choir of the Palanga Culture Centre, it became “Guboja” in 1992 under the guidance of artistic director Rimgaudas Juozapavičius 🎤.

Over the years, Guboja has become a cultural icon 🌊, performing at city events 🏛️, national festivals 🇱🇹, and international stages 🌍, including the Vatican, Venice, Croatia, Estonia, and Sweden.

Known for its strong sense of community ❤️, the ensemble also organizes the international choir festival Sing with the Sea (“Su jūra dainuok”) 🎵, celebrating its 20th edition in 2025 🎉. In 2021, Guboja earned First Category 🏆 at the national Silver Voices competition for artistic excellence.

Today, Guboja is more than a choir 🌟—it is a musical family sharing Lithuanian song with the world 🎶🇱🇹.

(That’s Quava – like quaver 🎶)

Born in 2009 from the energy of University of Johannesburg Choir alumni, Quava has grown into one of South Africa’s most exciting chamber choirs. With singers from across Gauteng, the group blends classical, jazz, African, and contemporary choral music into a vibrant and unforgettable sound.

Over the years, Quava has shone on some of the biggest stages: 🏆 two gold medals at the World Choir Games 2018, a Standing Ovation Award at the National Arts Festival, and a spectacular victory at the Sing for Gold – World Choral Cup in Barcelona 2022, where they won two categories and placed 2nd overall on their very first international tour! ✈️🎤

🎶 NFM Girls’ Choir (Wrocław, Poland) 🎶

The NFM Girls’ Choir, founded in September 2022 by Andrzej Kosendiak and led by Małgorzata Podzielny, brings together talented singers aged nine to eighteen. Since 2023, Mikołaj Szczęsny has served as assistant artistic director.

In just a short time, the choir has become an active part of Wrocław’s cultural life, collaborating with renowned conductors such as Ernst Kovacic and Enrico Onofri, and performing with ensembles including the European Union Baroque Orchestra, NFM Leopoldinum Orchestra, and the NFM Boys’ Choir.

The ensemble has appeared at leading festivals such as Wratislavia Cantans, the Leo Festival, and Dresden’s Fête de l’Europe, and has already earned international acclaim. In 2023, it won the Grand Prix at the Józef Świder International Festival of Music in Cieszyn, along with multiple gold diplomas and a special prize for best sacred music performance.

That same year, the choir released its debut album, Mr. Kleks’ Philharmonic, recorded with the NFM Boys’ Choir, Rondo Vocal Ensemble, and NFM Leopoldinum Orchestra – a project that quickly drew attention from audiences and critics alike.

🌟 ASTROLABIUM Choir – 25 Years of Music and Passion 🌟

Founded in 1999 and led ever since by Kinga Litowska, the Astrolabium Choir has become one of Toruń’s most distinguished ensembles. Its name pays tribute to Copernicus and reflects the choir’s deep bond with the city.

Over the past 25 years, Astrolabium has performed across Poland and abroad, winning prestigious awards such as the Grand Prix at Musica Sacra a Roma, the Golden Lute at Legnica Cantat, and most recently the Grand Prix of the International Festival of Passion Music (2024).

The choir’s repertoire embraces both contemporary a ca****la works and great vocal-instrumental masterpieces, often premiered in collaboration with renowned composers and artists. Its discography includes award-nominated albums such as Astrolabium Sings Bembinow, Palmeri’s Magnificat, and the recent Kołysz się kołysz (2024).

🎶 Vivid Singers Chamber Choir 🎶

Founded in February 2005 by conductor Dawid Ber and 17 young musicians, the Vivid Singers have been sharing their passion for choral music for nearly two decades. ✨

Their repertoire is rich and diverse – spanning a ca****la works from the Renaissance to the 21st century, Negro spirituals, and arrangements of popular standards. The ensemble also regularly collaborates with the Łódź Philharmonic, Kalisz Philharmonic, and the Polish Camerata Orchestra, performing monumental oratorio and cantata masterpieces.

🌟 Highlights of their artistic journey include:

Performances of Bach’s Passions, Mass in B minor, Magnificat and Christmas Oratorio, Handel’s Dixit Dominus, Haydn’s The Creation, Mozart’s Requiem and Coronation Mass, Beethoven’s 9th Symphony, Verdi’s, Dvořák’s and Fauré’s Requiems, and many more.

The premiere of Krzysztof Grzeszczak’s “Locus Inaestimabilis” with the Łódź Philharmonic Choir & Orchestra, recorded on DVD.

The release of the CD Viva la musica (2017–2018), featuring dozens of Grzeszczak’s choral works.

The spectacular Queen Symphonic Project (2011 premiere), performed nearly 150 times across Poland between 2012–2018.

Numerous prizes and distinctions at national and international choral festivals.

In recent years, the choir continues to enchant audiences with powerful oratorio performances, from Bach to Haydn and beyond. 💫

🇨🇿 Nyklband Chamber Choir of Frenštát pod Radhoštěm 🎶

The Nyklband Chamber Choir (Komorní sbor Nyklband, z.s.) was founded in October 2014 in Frenštát pod Radhoštěm. Formed by high school and university students, the choir is led by its conductor Boris Nykl. Their repertoire is wide-ranging – from early sacred music to folk song arrangements and popular music – with many pieces arranged by Nykl himself. The choir strives to perform with originality, playfulness, and vibrant energy.

Performed major works including Mozart’s Requiem (St. Nicholas Church, Prague), Dvořák’s Stabat Mater (Bethlehem Chapel), and Ryba’s Czech Christmas Mass (Saint-Germain des Prés Cathedral, Paris).

Released three self-produced albums and earned silver prizes and gold at international competitions in Olomouc 🇨🇿, Venice 🇮🇹, and Žilina 🇸🇰, Musica Orbis Gloria Prague (2022), Svátky písní Olomouc (2023), and 2nd place overall at Cantate Domino Kaunas, Lithuania (10th anniversary, 2024).

The choir regularly performs across the Czech Republic and abroad, engaging in both concert tours and large-scale projects. Their performances are marked by youthful energy, creativity, and a strong commitment to artistic quality.

🎼 Conductor is Boris Nykl who graduated of the Faculty of Education, Charles University in Prague, is currently pursuing a doctoral degree in Music Theory and Pedagogy.

In addition to leading Nyklband, he conducts the Ondrášek Concert Choir and Ondrášek Chamber Choir (Nový Jičín), the girls’ choir Datio (Odry), and the Moravian Madrigalists (Kroměříž). He also teaches music education and instrumental performance at the Secondary Pedagogical and Medical School of St. Agnes in Odry and serves as a member of the Nový Jičín District Art Council.

🌞 Saulė Women’s Choir of the Cultural Centre in Jurbarkas 🇱🇹

The Saulė Women’s Choir was founded in early 2020 at the initiative of choirmaster Danutė Lapienė. Its members are active women from the Jurbarkas region, united by a shared passion for singing, teamwork, and artistic growth. Remarkably, the choir was born at the very beginning of the pandemic, facing long breaks in rehearsals – yet their determination and spirit turned challenges into achievements.

✨ Highlights of their journey:

2020 – First concert With a Song to Life in Jurbarkas, also participation in Street Music Day.

2021 – Performances at traditional cultural events in Jurbarkas.

2022 – World Music Day concert with Latvian choir Balti 🇱🇻; first international appearance at We Are Singing Cracow 🇵🇱; victory at Our Songs festival-competition in Vievis – 1st place in both secular and sacred categories.

2023 – 1st degree diploma at the Lithuanian Adult Choirs Competition; 2nd degree diploma at international competition Vox Maris.

2024 – Silver diploma at international choir competition in Gdańsk 🇵🇱; double 1st place again at Our Songs in Vievis; awarded Category I by the Lithuanian National Cultural Centre; recipient of the prestigious “Golden Bird” (Aukso paukštė) award for Best Newly Established Amateur Art Group and Leader. 🏆

The choir’s repertoire ranges from Lithuanian folk and sacred music to traditional and festival programs, and they maintain close cultural ties with choirs in Latvia and beyond.

In just a few years, Saulė has grown into one of Lithuania’s most vibrant and acclaimed amateur women’s choirs – proof that dedication, unity, and love for music can shine even in the most challenging times. 🌟🎶

🇱🇻 Let´s meet again with Kamerkoris Amadeus 🎶✨

Founded on March 17, 1993, the Senioru sieviešu kamerkoris Amadeus has performed in more than 763 concerts across Latvia and abroad. Over three decades, the choir has taken part in 9 Latvian Song Festivals, 2 Nordic Song Festivals, and numerous international competitions, earning recognition and awards along the way. 🌍

Recent achievements include Festival Loutraki 🇬🇷, Latvian General Song & Dance Festival (150th Anniversary) 🎉 – I degree diploma, Venezia in Musica 🇮🇹 – Silver diploma and RIGA SINGS & Imants Kokars Choral Award 🇱🇻 – Silver diploma .

The choir’s members, aged 62 to 86, come from diverse walks of life but are united by their love of singing. Their repertoire embraces sacred music, Latvian classics, early works, folk songs, and popular music – always with the goal of bringing joy to their audiences. 🌟

✨ Capella Bydgostiensis Pro Musica Antiqua ✨

Founded in 1962 by Andrzej Szwalbe, Capella Bydgostiensis quickly became one of Poland’s leading early music chamber ensembles. Rooted in Renaissance and Baroque traditions, the group has performed across Europe, recorded extensively for radio, television, and international labels, and continues to enrich the cultural identity of the Pomeranian Philharmonic.

With a repertoire spanning from early music to contemporary works, Capella has collaborated with outstanding artists and earned prestigious awards, including a Fryderyk for their Naxos recording of Grażyna Bacewicz’s Symphony for String Orchestra.

Under the artistic direction of violinist and conductor Piotr Pławner since 2022, Capella Bydgostiensis remains a vibrant force in Polish and European music life. 🎶
