I just started something for which I have a browser tab open since 2021. I was unsure and had doubt in what I have to offer to people in order to be part of a membership program. This open browser tab was a page I created on a platform called Steady.

It happened that I was able to call Sebastian Esser from Steady back then and we had a conversation and he encouraged me to start without overloaded tiers – which I had back then.

I still was unsure and did not feel, I was in the position to "ask people for their money".

Lasst week I met Sebastian again at an event in Düsseldorf. The conversations I had there, plus conversations with people like Keir Whitaker and Bastian Allgeier encouraged me to simply start this now.

I am happy to present "Friends of beyond tellerrand". A start of something that might become more than just a membership program. "Friends of beyond tellerrand" should be our community-supported backbone. If you believe in ideas, people, and sharing without ego – this is for you. You then don’t "just" attend btconf. You can be part of it.
