>> A weekend where the Porsche community came together at one of the most breathtaking roads in the world. ⛰️🏁
Last month, the F.A.T. event FAT brought enthusiasts, collectors, drivers, and dreamers to the iconic Mankei Hut, perched 2,262 meters above sea level on the legendary Großglockner High Alpine Road.
From rare classics such as the 356 and 914 to modern icons like the Carrera GT, 918 Spyder, and the latest 992 generation, the variety of vehicles on display was nothing short of extraordinary. Many of these cars are usually only seen in museums, yet here they arrived under their own power.
Alongside them were unique one-offs, custom builds, historic race cars, and countless automotive treasures that attracted enthusiasts from all over.
A true highlight was the community drive-up on Saturday morning, when dozens of vehicles climbed the mountain together before gathering at the Mankei Hut in a relaxed and welcoming atmosphere. With no entry fee and open access for everyone, the event embodied the spirit of the automotive community.
Spectacular display cars included the legendary GT1 race cars from 1996, 1997, and 1998, the 935 based on the 991 GT2 RS, the Taycan Turbo GT Manthey, and the remarkable Oilstainlab Half11.
We were proud to contribute by offering complimentary test drives across the Alpine pass, giving visitors the chance to experience Porsche performance in one of the most stunning driving environments imaginable.
Together with our drivers Eric Rühl, Miki Gruber, and Tim Eilers, and thanks to Max’s coordination on-site, we completed more than 250 test drives in just two days.
From the 911 GT3 SC and 911 GT3 RS to the 911 Turbo S Cabriolet, Cayenne Turbo, and the all-electric Macan Electric, every drive created unforgettable memories.
A special thank you to everyone who joined, including familiar faces such as , Wolfgang Porsche, and Jörg Joerg Bergmeister , who helped make this gathering such a unique celebration of automotive passion.
