CEREMONY & CAKE

Our wedding ceremony was very romantic and love-filled with a lot of emotions… almost everybody had tears in their eyes. In order that all our guests could understand our ceremony, our lovely officiant Lara Lara Marques] held it in German and Portuguese. Our vows we also spoke in both languages including a lot of happy tears… it was magical! Cristiana Cristiana Silva] with her stunning voice enchanted our ceremony even more.

What made our ceremony even sweeter was our wedding cake, which we were cutting directly after the ceremony. Ana BAKEWELL - Ana Ribeiro] made our wedding cake dream come true and the taste of white champagne cake with raspberry filling was divine!

OUR DOURO CEREMONY

Our dream was to get married with an outdoor ceremony in the Douro Valley. I’ve never imagined we would find such a perfect place for our ceremony… in front of this amazing tree, with the river Douro in the background and surrounded by terraces of vines and olive orchards. I’m very grateful for it!

A huge thank you to Sofia and her team Team: Photographer & Florist] for the wonderful ceremony flower decoration… it was stunning!

WEDDING PARK

After our civil wedding in Schloss Surenes we and our guests hopped on rickshaws to get to our wedding lunch through the English Garden to our favorite park. The delicious lunch our friend Karl Karl Baumgartner] has created … Karl has a sweet restaurant next to the park. It was amazing to celebrate our civil wedding with our families and our closest friends in this for us very special park and with the best food from Karl! I’m very grateful for this day! 🤍
