happy to announce another show for this year full of melancholy, oddity & gloom ⊹ ࣪ ˖

l‘orne are casting spells with their idiosyncratic blend of drone-like postrock, dark slowcore and a penchant for the theatrics.
munich newcommers moskau78 float between whispers and screams, noise and quiet, rage and reluctance, while piteous conjure up feelings of wistfulness & nothingness through gloomy riffs and punchy screams, subtle melodies and spoken words.

2007 / düren, nrw
a whole string of dialogues is formed out of brothers sascha and daniel experimenting with new, alternative sounds, dipping into emo and screamo territory. with the later addition of friends jonas and julius, their line-up was complete.
in the following years, the emo music scene is coming into its renaissance and regaining some of its core attributes, that were long forgotten. during this vivid time, a whole string of dialogues releases their self-titled debut (and only) album on CD - a format still popular back in 2009.

in 2026, the renaissance of the renaissance is in full bloom. Their album is being re-released on vinyl for the very first time. 8 songs dealing with loss, breakups, self-examination and new love, hitting all the marks right now as they did back then.
pairing direct, memorable melodies with emotional parts - concise and heartfelt, uttered on top, next to and against one another.

Inspired by the “Golden Era Emo” sound of the ’90s, Pennwood Rd. combines their diverse musical backgrounds and brings the genre’s DIY ethic into the present. Jangly guitars, infectious melodies and raw emotions - no unnecessary frills, but with lots of attention to detail.

spontaneity vs. conscious action by available on tape now!

a few lucky people already got their tapes yesterday at the show, the rest will be available soon! shipping on efr starts may 15th

~~~~
spontaneity vs. conscious action is a reciporal play between urgency and rest. through layers of noise and fuzz, a mirror image of the most eccentric and forceful post-hardcore from 20 years ago reveals itself. raging like a thunderstorm, then again calm, before striking with even more eagerness. Samples and skits giving you just enough time to catch your breath, before the grip tightens again.
Sorry I’m Late (Emo-Punk, Berlin)
Llana (Mathrock, Berlin)
Sunflower Radio (Emo-Junk, Rosenheim)
Doors 7:30
Noise 8:00
10-15€ entry at the doors
Weezer couldn’t come, but we got Sorry I’m Late instead. With their first EP and maybe a couple of new songs they will provide the nerd-rock-emo-punk-sound, Seth Cohen would have loved. Math Rockers Llana from Berlin even created a complicated formular for themselves. Adding up punchy time signatures with a captivating sound and dividing it with the square root of their jazzy influences times the sum of their talent, passion and experience times two. Didn’t get that? Just see for yourself then.
It wouldn’t be emo if there was no one screaming „boo hoo, i’m scared“, so we invited local emo-ultras Sunflower Radio to bring some melancholic yet playful rhythms to the game.
