𝗢𝗻𝗲 𝗻𝗶𝗴𝗵𝘁 𝗮𝘁 𝘁𝗵𝗲 𝗹𝗲𝗴𝗲𝗻𝗱𝗮𝗿𝘆 𝗛𝗼𝘁𝗲𝗹 𝗔𝗱𝗹𝗼𝗻 𝗞𝗲𝗺𝗽𝗶𝗻𝘀𝗸𝗶 𝗕𝗲𝗿𝗹𝗶𝗻 🛎️

There are hotels where you stay and then there are hotels that are part of history.

Standing directly beside the Brandenburg Gate, the five-star Berlin has been one of Berlin’s most iconic addresses since its opening in 1907. Destroyed towards the end of World War II and rebuilt in 1997, the hotel has welcomed legendary guests including Albert Einstein, Charlie Chaplin, Greta Garbo, Marlene Dietrich, as well as countless royalty and political leaders.

Our ch*****ne reception took place in of of the suites, facing the Brandenburg Gate and Pariser Platz. Followed by an unforgettable dinner at , the hotel’s two-Michelin-starred restaurant. Magnificent. 🥂

My stay had a professional purpose too: a site visit of the hotel’s meetings and event spaces for my clients. And what better way to explore a venue than to experience the hotel from the inside?

One night may be short, but at the Adlon, it is enough to experience a little bit of the magic, history and timeless glamour that has made this hotel a Berlin institution. ✨

𝗧𝗵𝗿𝗲𝗲 𝗵𝗼𝘁𝗲𝗹𝘀. 𝗧𝗵𝗿𝗲𝗲 𝗰𝗼𝗺𝗽𝗹𝗲𝘁𝗲𝗹𝘆 𝗱𝗶𝗳𝗳𝗲𝗿𝗲𝗻𝘁 𝘀𝘁𝗼𝗿𝗶𝗲𝘀. 🇧🇪

A quick stop in Brussels on my way to the gave me the perfect opportunity to do what I love most: discover hotels and figure out which client they could be right for.

I visited three properties, and honestly, they couldn’t be more different.

A stylish, centrally located city hotel overlooking Place Rogier—great for clients looking for a reliable, contemporary base with easy access to the city and strong meeting capabilities.

🎨 𝗖𝗮𝗿𝗱𝗼 𝗕𝗿𝘂𝘀𝘀𝗲𝗹𝘀, 𝗔𝘂𝘁𝗼𝗴𝗿𝗮𝗽𝗵 𝗖𝗼𝗹𝗹𝗲𝗰𝘁𝗶𝗼𝗻
Bold, colourful and full of personality. With 532 rooms, 15 meeting rooms, rooftop experiences and plenty of spaces designed to bring people together, Cardo is a destination in itself—particularly interesting for groups looking for something more playful and unconventional.

👑 𝗖𝗼𝗿𝗶𝗻𝘁𝗵𝗶𝗮 𝗚𝗿𝘀𝗻𝗱 𝗛𝗼𝘁𝗲𝗹 𝗔𝘀𝘁𝗼𝗿𝗶𝗮 𝗕𝗿𝘂𝘀𝘀𝗲𝗹𝘀
Elegant, sophisticated and rooted in Brussels’ heritage, this is a completely different proposition. A hotel for clients who appreciate luxury, timeless design, exceptional service and a sense of place. And I particularly loved discovering its creative side through Coutume, its showcase for Belgian craftsmanship.

𝙏𝙝𝙧𝙚𝙚 𝙝𝙤𝙩𝙚𝙡𝙨. 𝙏𝙝𝙧𝙚𝙚 𝙥𝙚𝙧𝙨𝙤𝙣𝙖𝙡𝙞𝙩𝙞𝙚𝙨. 𝙏𝙝𝙧𝙚𝙚 𝙫𝙚𝙧𝙮 𝙙𝙞𝙛𝙛𝙚𝙧𝙚𝙣𝙩 𝙩𝙖𝙧𝙜𝙚𝙩 𝙜𝙧𝙤𝙪𝙥𝙨. And that’s exactly why I love site inspections. Because finding the right hotel isn’t simply about the number of rooms, meeting space or star rating.

𝗦𝗼𝗺𝗲𝘁𝗶𝗺𝗲𝘀 𝘁𝗵𝗲 𝗴𝗿𝗲𝗮𝘁𝗲𝘀𝘁 𝗮𝗱𝘃𝗲𝗻𝘁𝘂𝗿𝗲𝘀 𝗯𝗲𝗴𝗶𝗻 𝘄𝗶𝘁𝗵 𝘁𝗵𝗲 𝗯𝗶𝗴𝗴𝗲𝘀𝘁 𝗳𝗲𝗮𝗿𝘀. 🇲🇦

If you know me, you’ll know that I’m afraid of heights.

So why did I say YES to a hot air balloon ride over the Moroccan desert? Because some experiences are simply too extraordinary to let fear decide. 🎈

As the balloon gently lifted off before sunrise, something unexpected happened. The fear disappeared. There were no sudden movements, no turbulence - just complete silence, interrupted only by the occasional burst of the burner. 🔥

Floating high above the breathtaking Moroccan landscape, watching the first rays of sunlight paint the desert and the Atlas Mountains in warm shades of gold, was nothing short of magical. The world below seemed to slow down, and for a moment, time stood still. It reminded me that our greatest rewards often lie just beyond our comfort zone.

Would I do it again?

If you’ve ever dreamed of a hot air balloon flight but hesitated because of a fear of heights, let this be your sign. The gentle glide, the endless views, and the overwhelming sense of peace are unlike anything I’ve ever experienced.

Sometimes, the best perspective comes from seeing the world a little differently.

You must have so many cool photo on your camera 📸✨

Well … yes and no. 😄
On my camera roll, you’ll definitely find a lot of beautifully staged event moments. But behind the scenes, it looks a little different…

Hidden on an alpine meadow beneath the legendary Rosengarten, the 𝗕𝗲𝗿𝗴𝗹𝗲𝗿𝘁𝗮𝗳𝗲𝗹 is one of South Tyrol's most extraordinary culinary experiences.
