🌍💧♻ IFAT Eurasia 2025 has started! A recap of the first day…

The first day of IFAT Eurasia 2025 has come to an end – and it’s already been packed with innovation, inspiration and meaningful connections:

Day 1 at a glance:

✅ More than 200 exhibitors from 13 countries
✅ More than 350 represented brands

We kicked off with a vibrant opening by Ms. Fatma Varank, Deputy Minister of Environment, Urbanization and Climate Change Türkiye, Dr. Regina Grienberger, Consul General of the Federal Republic of Germany, Mr. İlker Altun, Managing Director of EKO MMI, Ms. Katharina Schlegel, Global Industry Lead of IFAT, setting the tone for an exciting day.

Throughout the day, our visitors took the opportunity to tap into valuable networking moments, connect with relevant industry exhibitors and gain fresh insights into key sector developments.

🔹 Highlights of the day included a panel by the International Solid Waste Association (ISWA) on Resource Management under the EU CBAM, a keynote by Antonis Mavropoulos on AI’s role in the circular economy, and forward-looking panels at IREMCON – the International Environmental Conference.

The 26th edition of IE expo China has successfully concluded, further cementing its position as Asia’s leading trade fair for environmental technology solutions.

From April 21–23, 2025, the Shanghai New International Expo Centre welcomed an impressive 90,571 trade visitors from 72 countries and regions!

A total of 2,279 exhibitors from 22 countries and regions—including ten international pavilions—showcased cutting-edge innovations across water, waste, air, and soil sectors. Specialized areas like membrane filtration, advanced disinfection, and environmental monitoring saw remarkable growth, highlighting the industry's dynamic spirit.
