it‘s supposed to be „casual triathlon day with my sis“ caption in the classic instagram spirit but that’s not how it was, so I won’t lie.
from getting hold of tickets through trying to find time and motivation to train as a mom of a 1,5 year old to being supposed to get your period on the race day and having a sleepless night with a teething toddler - it was hard. also hearing from ppl it‘s a „training“, „kids“, „physically unchallenging“ distance was majorly annoying - textbook invalidation but it still gets to you!
but I’m endlessly greatful and proud that we did it and so so thankful to my partner supporting me in my every ambition, my sister who motivated me follow through on it and put up with all my complaints and my parents who found us tickets and came to cheer 🎈 what a day!
