You are the space you are surrounded by.
Much evidence is out there that our surrounding has an impact on our behavior, mood and thoughts. In architecture and interior design, shapes, size and colors are used to put the human into a certain state of mind. This can be enabling or oppressing. We probably all know to tell about some very bad examples of buildings that make us feel small, unworthy and meaningless.
Karmanoia's immersive spaces foster imagination and playfulness. They are for you to discover your inner potential, as we will never hand you a user manual. So, come as you are.

The Cosmology of the Turner Cube

We believe in the miracle of the transition. In immersive art you need to master this probably most powerful moment on the threshold. But: Where does inside start, whre does outside end?

We love the Turner Cube because it neatly bears the key to the door of a deeper questioning of reality. Can we define ourselves and the world as discretely outlined objects? Aren’t we placed into the world as a part of it, an element, a trace? And aren’t we at the same time vessels in which body cells proliferate and the mind grants access to a universe of infinite possibilities?

Looking at the human in the world not as the last element of a chain of creation, or as ultimate truth, our existence appears as a link in a network of endless states of wonders. The Turner Cube perfectly represents this nested pyramiding, of containing a container and yet another shell to another core. Ad infinitum.

The TEMPLE OF COSMIC BEYOND at is an interactive and immersive installation with performance elements. Every weekend, the surreal space, created by numerous artists, will be animated by live performances. The design of all spaces as well as make up and costumes of the actors are an outburst of passionate, meticulous, and fascinating creativity. You should really have a look at it. And a touch.
