The final output of the "Save The Night" series is a selection of soundtracks for movies that don‘t exist yet called “Textures“. With "Hypnos", Asōka provides a stunning, absorbing ambient track that was part of a collaborative art installation with Ernstina Eitner last summer. Next on the EP is an exclusive edit of a Florestan original called “Soma“ by the group named Oberheimer, which happens to be the downtempo live project consisting of the artist himself and other talented instrumentalists. Track 3 called “Core“ turns up the tempo as being a techno-inspired breakbeat track brought to you by the host of our Fokus event series, Coeter. Then, we head back to the ambient floor. Jan Marxsen’s piano piece „I-III-I-II“ shows the young man’s skills when it comes to neo-ambient music and contains a hidden message. Closing the “Save The Night“ Compilation for 2020, the two guys behind the project Fourthlake, whose debut LP has seen the light of day this year, provide a UK-influenced breakbeat track with classic chorus guitar elements and their trademark ambient
soundscapes.

Nach knapp 20 Jahren Clubgeschäft und unzähligen Nächten unter den Discokugeln, stellt der Luna Club aus Kiel eine Auswahl an Tracks zusammen und wird ein Musiklabel. Die Tracks kommen von Freunden und Familie des Clubs und wurden zur Verfügung gestellt, um die finanziellen Einbußen, die aufgrund der andauernden Covid-19 Situation entstanden und weiterhin entstehen, etwas zu kompensieren. Die Compilation beinhaltet Songs von Künstlern wie Monkey Safari, Till von Sein und vielen anderen Künstlern, und wird häppchenweise in Form von EPs mit jeweils 4-5 songs veröffentlicht. Kauf diese Compilation und rette wortwörtlich die Nacht sowie eine der ältesten Institutionen der deutschen Clubszene.

After almost 20 years of club business and countless nights of dancing under mirror balls, Luna Club, which is based in Kiel, brings together a selection of music from its family and friends, to make up for the financial losses due to the ongoing Covid-19 situation. The whole compilation features songs by artists like Monkey Safari, Till von Sein and many more and it will be released in parts with 4-5 tracks on each output.
