About today’s DJ in Poema:

Georgia is from Greece but has lived and dance also in France, Germany, USA.
Dancing several forms since 6 years old, and tango since 2012, she is playing music since 2016, in milongas and marathons, across countries and continents. “I see dance as a hidden language of the soul, with the power to stimulate expression, and connection. I try to craft a narrative of tango history and qualities throughout orchestras and energies. Inspired by the dancers, I aim to balance the elegant, romantic, playful expressions of the dance.”

Few words about Antonio & Myriam, performing this Saturday at the LAST 2024 Milonga Poema DJ Georgia Rapti & GUEST PERFORMANCE

Myriam and Antonio, originally from southern Italy, have been dancing Tango Argentino together for over 15 years. Their style is deeply inspired by the art of communication within the embrace, where connection becomes the essence of their dance.

Myriam began her journey in dance at the age of 5, training in classical ballet, modern jazz, tap, ballroom, and Latin American styles before discovering tango. Antonio found his passion for tango in 2005, and their paths crossed in 2009, marking the beginning of a shared artistic and cultural journey. Together, they have refined their craft by studying with some of the most renowned dancers and teachers in the world.

Today, Myriam and Antonio are dedicated educators and performers, sharing their love for tango through regular classes and captivating performances at prestigious events.
