“We wrote our own vows using the fountain pens we made together while on a vacation in Japan. I had the booklets made and secured with chiffon silk ribbons in purple which matched my bouquet and Jason’s boutonniere. The perfume I wore was the first sentimental gift Jason gave me almost 30 years ago. I wore that perfume at our initial wedding and every anniversary and other celebration since receiving it. We replaced our first set of rings with new ones that we designed together and had specially made through our jeweler back home. Jason also designed an anniversary band for me one stone for each of our beautiful children.”

“We honestly just fell in love with Greece. It was one of those places where we could both picture ourselves getting married almost immediately. We loved the sea, the little streets, the food, the way everything feels a bit slower there. We also liked that our wedding could feel like a holiday with our favorite people rather than everyone flying somewhere for one evening and then going straight back home. We wanted things to feel natural. We definitely enjoyed the food, wine and the whole Greek way of spending time together, lots of eating, talking, drinking and staying at the table much longer than you planned to. I think that ended up being one of my favorite parts)”
