TIQ is a minimal-synth party loved and supported by different alternative scenes since 2010. Djset are rigid, cold, rough-edge, blind-alley and the drum machine beats always like a metronome. No matter if the sound comes from the past, the present or the future, we are more and more devoted to select the best minimal-synth-wave music, so called "quad

ratic wave". Quadratic-wave is a word game and a concept from sound physics too, but the best way to catch it is to dance it, and the best way to dance it is by being concentrated and confined in a quadrangle as Die Tödlich Doris sang in their song Tanz im Quadrat: "Wir tanzen im Viereck, wir tanzen konzentriert".

For 16 years, June has been TIQ’s anniversary month.
It all started on June 18, 2010, in a tiny venue at Ostkreuz described by someone as a shoebox… or rather, a boot box.
That’s where TIQ was born: a night with no guitars, only minimal synth and cold electronic music, driven by drum machines hitting with relentless, metronomic precision.
From that day until now, we’ve stayed true to what TIQ has always been about: having fun on our own terms. And this year’s anniversary party at Kantine proved that once again.

To everyone who has followed us through every chapter and every move (sometimes forced), all across Berlin: thank you from the bottom of our hearts 💟

Keep following TIQ, whatever shape it may take in the future, because the quadratic wave will never stop pulsing ▪️◾️◼️⬛️
