This evening, we attended 'IT-Gründung und Entrepreneurship' from TU Darmstadt. As much as we wanted to be there in a heart beat, the jealous rushhour traffic did not allow us. We ended up sneaking like a couple of ninjas into the semiar room after they have started with the introduction.
After the introduction from our professor, our guest speaker took over the brightly lit stage. She kindly asked the audience if they wanted the presentation in German or English. Then I heard Kay shouting 'English!' Typical Kay, always pushing his way anywhere he goes.
Of all the points the presenter mentioned, one had the most impact to me. Her smile as she spoke. Confident and to the point, and yet a little playful so that people could easily fall into the new world of start-up scene in Africa. As soon as the slideshow reached the last page, people started asking questions and interacting with each other more vibrantly. This was exactly why we came here for. Listening in for great thoughts and sharing their enthusiasm.
We had so much fun here and cannot wait for the next event! I'll catch you guys soon.
