Everyone in the techno scene talks about awareness, safety and inclusivity. But if you look at most lineups, it’s still the same story.
Mostly men.

And today, on International Women’s Day, that’s something worth talking about.

There are so many incredible women DJs and producers shaping this culture, pushing the sound forward and holding down dancefloors all over the world. Yet they’re still underrepresented on lineups.

At some point we have to move beyond statements.

Book more women.
Support women DJs.
Create space for LGBTQ+ artists.

Not because it looks good on a flyer.
Because the scene actually needs it.
Techno was built on freedom and diversity. Let’s make sure the lineups reflect that too.
