»Chocolate Remix ist das Reggaeton-Projekt der argentinischen Produzentin, Rapperin, Sängerin und DJ Romina Bernardo. Es besetzt das ursprünglich oft sexistische Genre mit einer q***r- und transfeministischen Perspektive. Chocolate Remix erschafft einen anderen Reggaeton und greift Tabuthemen wie Lust und Sexualität aus dieser Sicht auf und demonstriert zugleich Haltung gegen Diskriminierung,  Gewalt und Faschismus. Mit eloquenten, scharfen Texten, mit Satire und Humor, taucht Chocolate Remix in die verschiedenen Stile des Reggaeton ein und mixt diese u.a. mit Cumbia, Funk, Carioca, Dembow, Reggae, Trap und elektronischer Musik. »Eine Band kann man sich vielleicht als Körper vorstellen, als Corpus, in dem physisch getrennte Lebensformen eine Chimäre bilden, die mit einer Stimme kreischt. In dieser speziellen Band, eine einzige unter Millionen weltweit, verschmelzen vier Menschen selbstlos, werden musikalisch und bringen Rock’n’Roll hervor, der vertraut und doch neu, warm und doch eisig, melodisch und doch sphinxartig in seinen verführerischen und subtilen Rätseln ist… im Wesentlichen hat The Hard Quartet sich auf einer völlig neuen Stufe in der Gitarren-Bass-Schlagzeug-
Stimm-Landschaft eingeebnet und kultiviert.

The Hard Quartet sind Emmett Kelly, einem Songwriter, Gitarristen und Sänger, der vor allem für seine Arbeit mit The Cairo Gang und The Double bekannt ist, sowie in der Gesellschaft von Künstlern wie Bonnie „Prince“ Billy, Ty Segall, Rob Mazurek und vielen anderen.
Stephen Malkmus, einem Songwriter, Gitarristen und Sänger, der vor allem für seine Arbeit mit Pavement, den Jicks, Silver Jews und Straw Dogs bekannt ist.
Matt Sweeney, einem Songwriter, Gitarristen und Sänger, der vor allem für seine Arbeit mit Chavez, Superwolf, Superwolves bekannt ist und in der Gesellschaft einer Palette von Künstlern von Guided by Voices und Cat Power bis hin zu Johnny Cash und Neil Diamond. Jim White, ein Schlagzeuger und Songwriter, der vor allem für seine Arbeit mit Dirty Three, Xylouris White, unter seinem eigenen Namen, und mit Bands wie Guy Picciotto, Cat Power, Bill Callahan und Venom P Stinger bekannt ist.«
