VDM is truly a man of courage, a fearless voice and the peoples warrior ❤️, Yesterday during the protest VDM stood before soldiers and police officers at the Ministry of Defence and delivered a message many believe needed to be heard.

He told them that after decades of service, many officers still struggle with the same challenges facing ordinary Nigerians. According to him, while they are deployed to protect those in power, they and their families also live with the realities of insecurity, hardship, and an uncertain future.

VDM’s message was not directed at the officers themselves but at a system he believes has failed both the people and those tasked with protecting them. He urged security personnel to remember that beyond the uniform, they are citizens who are also affected by the country’s challenges.

Today, we send a clear message to Boko Haram and every terrorist group terrorizing our nation: Enough is enough.

We stayed silent when mosques were attack£d.
We stayed silent when churches were burned.
We stayed silent when our children were kidnapp£d from their schools and their classrooms destroy£d.
We stayed silent when our roads became unsafe and citizens could no longer travel freely by land.
We stayed silent when our farmlands were taken over, threatening our livelihoods and food security.
We stayed silent as attempts were made to divide us along religious lines, turning Muslims against Christians and Christians against Muslims.

But today, we stand together as one people, united by a common demand: security, justice, and the protection of every Nigerian life.

Enough is enough.

Born on March 27, 1946, in Oba-Ile, Osun State, Pa Kola Oyewo began his acting career in 1964 with the Oyin Adejobi Theatre Group and went on to become one of the most respected and recognizable figures in Yoruba theatre and Nigerian cinema.

His remarkable contributions to the entertainment industry will never be forgotten.
