2026 is shaping up to be anything but subtle.
Every year, I take a close look at how color evolves which tones feel current, which create atmosphere and which truly translate emotion into design. These insights help guide couples when choosing a palette that feels timeless yet relevant.
Color today is more than decoration. It’s woven intentionally into paper goods, florals, fashion, table design and even the mood itself through lighting. And it doesn’t take a full spectrum to make an impact.
Sometimes, one considered accent is enough to shift the entire feeling of a wedding.
For 2026, these are the hues defining modern celebrations:
•Chocolate — warm, elegant, quietly luxurious
•Cloud Dancer — soft, calming, the new refined neutral
•Cherry Burgundy — deep, sensual and expressive
•Emerald Green — rich, timeless and grounding
•Peach Apricot — light, emotional, modern-romantic
These shades aren’t rules.
They’re starting points — suggestions I often share to help couples find a color language that reflects their personality, their story and their setting. With thoughtful choices, even bold color can be adapted to different styles, venues and budgets.

One It-color deserves a post of its own.
Can you guess which one it will be?
Silver? Black? Or Blue?
