Call Me Reality

Call Me Reality Call Me Reality
A two person theatre performance
Two actors, a video artist, a sound designer, a set But what is actually reality? Are we ready to judge him?

Sometimes we need illusions to survive and we create a world that doesn´t correspond to reality. Who decides what is real and what is a dream? Is that something that needs to be confirmed by others or should we just trust our mind? A man is lost in an abstract space. He wakes up and he is interrogated about his guiltiness. The public is part of the jury. We need to stay in a comfortable space. We

are scared to go out of that. We have fear. We want security. We escape in our mental constructions and we finally find ourselves again.

“We're all just complicated arrangements of atoms and subatomic particles — we don't live. But our atoms do move about in such a way as to give us identity and consciousness. We don't die; our atoms just rearrange themselves. There is no God. It's ridiculous to think in terms of a superior or inferior being, maybe, because we don't even exist, we arrange our lives with more order and harmony than we imagine. We measure, we plot, we create wonderful new things. We are the architects of our own existence. This is the magic we have to experience. Then we have a future.” B.B.B. Actors:

Cool visual interview for our visual artist!

Geso, a.k.a. Pablo Iglesias, is a Spanish digital artist currently based in Berlin. His work is a vibrant collision of organic and digital themes designed to evoke, what he refers to as, a "lost paradise." Under another alias, Mr Glitch, he was one of the pioneers of the Glitch Art Movement, creatin…

Also known as Pablo IA (Pablo Iglesias Algora, Madrid 1977) is an active creative mind involved in different art and design fields. As graphic designer and art director for GeeOhDee studio, as artist creating works for exhibitions in galleries and festivals (previously with his brother and partner), as dj and promotor of electronic music events and of course, as publisher and curator (since 1999) for his main project: Belio, an art publishing house and organization who runs exhibitions, concerts, festivals, conferences and workshops. Pablo IA actually lives and works in Berlin, where he founded The Mask Collective with Arnaud Iprex, apart of developing his career as visual creator Geso and freelancing for challenging creative projects.

Geso is the moniker he uses for his most personal work, specially focused in glitch and video art, live-video performances and urban interventions. His videos are a combination of glitches, geometric graphics, urban explorations, landscapes and images from nature, evoking a sort of lost paradise, a visual journey through symbols and images extracted from reality in order to re-connect the viewer with a kind of collective memory.

Geso's visual installations, screenings and performances are usually but not always connected with the experimental music scene and the club culture. His most recent shows include Berlin Atonal Festival (Berlin, 2014), Krake Festival (Berlin, 2014 & 2013), Platoon Kunsthalle 2nd Anniversary (Berlin, 2014) The Mask Show (Berlin, 2014), Adobe Creative Cloud Launch Event (Los Angeles, 2014), File Hipersonica (São Paulo 2013), Crazy Language Showcase at LunchMeat (Prague, 2013), "Color Invocation" performance at Knock Knock Who Is There (Berlin, 2013), Applied Sound Arts (Leipzig, 2013), We Love 8Bit Art Show (Berlin, 2013), CutOut Fest (Queretaro 2012) and Metro Sound - sound art festival (Madrid, 2011), etc.
