Yesterday I took just the sweetest trip with to ’s launch party at hq .

It was so nice to experience so many inspiring people and connect with people who also suffer from gender inequality and learn how they fight against it. It’s not that it’s nice to have the same discussion over and over again, but that you realise you’re not alone.

That’s why working with Prozecco is so incredibly important to me: we still live in a patriarchy and even though some things have already changed, we still have a long way to go! 🙂‍↕️

How do we as a collective manage to ensure more equality? We are fully committed to promoting young talent. In our line-ups, we make sure to book flintas who have not received much attention so far in order to offer them a platform. That’s what we also do with the podcast. So here’s a cheeky tip: if you’re (still) an unknown flinta DJ and would like to record a mix, just dm me. 😇 We also do DJ workshops and are currently planning a series of workshops to train flintas in the whole club context. So bookong, lighting and event technology, etc.

7 Jahre Prozecco 🥹

Kann’s irgendwie immer noch nicht glauben, aber mein liebstes DJ Kollektiv wird einfach mal sieben Jahre alt. Es hat sich mega viel getan, die Besetzung hat sich geändert, die (Dresdner) Clubszene ist offener und zugänglicher für FLINTA-DJs geworden und auch ich bin in der Zeit extrem gewachsen.

Doch mal von Anfang an: wie kams denn überhaupt dazu, dass wir ein feministisches DJ Kollektiv gegründet haben?

💓 2015 hat DJ Workshops gegeben, die sich an FLINTAs gerichtet haben. Dort hat sich recht schnell eine kleine Gruppe an Nachwuchs-DJs herauskristallisiert, die Bock hatte ihr gelerntes schnellst möglich vor Publikum zu präsentieren. Das Problem? Mit wenigen Connections zu anderen Kollektiven oder Clubs, hatten wir kaum Möglichkeiten aufzulegen. Also haben wir entschlossen, selber Veranstaltungen zu organisieren. Bis zu dem Zeitpunkt waren wir nur ein formloser Zusammenschluss von Menschen, die ähnliche Werte vertreten und Ziele verfolgen. Wir wollten die Dresdner Szene ein wenig aufmischen, denn bis dahin gabs auf den Lineup’s fast nur Männer. Außerdem hatten wir den Wunsch, einen Safespace für uns als DJs kreieren, aber auch für unsere Gäste.

Als dann die erste Party erfolgreich über die Bühne ging, hatten wir Mitte 2016 beschlossen nun auch als DJ Kollektiv aktiv zu werden. Uuund so ist Prozecco geboren 🥳

Das wollen wir jetzt feiern! Am 25. November, gibt es ab 23 Uhr Techno, Acid und Trance.

Vor ein paar Wochen hat der Sektor Evolution angerufen und gefragt, ob wir als ProZecco bei Timeless Eternity mitmachen wollen.
