In the heart of Venice, a couple embarks on their new journey together, drifting serenely in a canoe, symbolizing the ebb and flow of their relationship. Venice. One of the world´s most romantic city.⁠

This was the very first wedding I shot. Bjorn and I went to High School in Kenya together. I had just moved from Mauritius and he welcomed me into his life of adventures: we jumped from waterfalls in the urban forests of Nairobi with a rush of electricity, took a motorbike ride down to the lake of Naivasha. Then we parted ways to Uni. Years later, Bjorn called me up: “ Dude, I am getting married!!”. After a tumultuous Berlin relationship, he had met Anna, a gentle soul from Venice. I just brought my camera with me, thinking this would be a trip to remember. ⁠
