KISUI BERLIN ★ 19 Jahre kisui.
Und irgendwie ist es jedes Jahr wieder aufregend.
Monatelang entstehen Ideen, werden Stoffe ausgesucht, Schnitte entwickelt, verworfen, verändert und neu gedacht. Es wird gezeichnet, gesteckt, genäht, anprobiert – und ganz viel diskutiert und gelacht.
Bis aus einer ersten Idee irgendwann eine neue Kollektion wird.
Und dann kommt für uns einer der schönsten Momente:
Wir zeigen sie euch.
Plötzlich hängen die Kleider nicht mehr nur bei uns im Atelier. Die ersten Bräute probieren sie an, verlieben sich in einen Look und machen ihn zu ihrem eigenen. Und aus all den Monaten Arbeit wird etwas ganz Reales.
Auch nach 19 Jahren ist das für uns nicht selbstverständlich. Und vielleicht ist genau das das Schönste daran.
Dass wir immer noch aufgeregt sind.
Dass wir immer noch neue Ideen haben.
Und dass wir das alles mit einem wunderbaren Team machen dürfen.
Heute feiern wir 19 Jahre kisui.
Und freuen uns schon auf alles, was noch kommt. 🤍

★ 19 years of kisui.
And somehow, every year still feels exciting.
For months, ideas take shape. Fabrics are chosen, patterns developed, discarded, changed and reimagined. We sketch, drape, sew, fit – and there’s a lot of discussing and laughing along the way.
Until, one day, all those first ideas have become a new collection.
And then comes one of our favourite moments:
We get to show it to you.
Suddenly, the dresses are no longer just hanging in our atelier. The first brides try them on, fall in love with a look and make it completely their own. And all those months of work turn into something real.
Even after 19 years, we never take this for granted. And maybe that’s the most beautiful part of it all.
That we still get excited.
That we still have new ideas.
And that we get to create all of this together with our wonderful team.
Today, we’re celebrating 19 years of kisui.
And we’re already a little excited about everything that’s still to come. 🤍
