BPM is back for round 2 of 2023 and whewww what a lineup! 😮‍💨
As always we have a mixture of incredible local and interational talent bringing a rainbow of rhythmic, high energy and all consuming beats to one of Berlin’s most iconic venues Tresor Berlin🌈

We have once again taken over the Globus floor and to help and we're joined: by Hannover-based experimental artist Coco Cobra 💜, SA native, Berlin localised ‘artist of a new African generation’ and head honcho of Afrikan Tales& Innervisions, Floyd Lavine 💛, one of the most executing talents in Gqom coming out of Amsterdam aka STATE OFFF🖤 and last but by no means least from Paris via Rabat, we will be blessed with the presence of techno futurist Glitter55💙.

BPM IS TONIGHT PEOPLE!🔌🔌🔌

And not that she needs much of an introduction, but say hola to the final addition to our lineup: BPM’s co-founding mama Juba Music. 🐵

As a child of the Nigerian diaspora🇳🇬, Juba is all about showcasing sounds from Africa and the African diaspora, with influences drawn from her UK upbringing and life experiences across Latin America and Europe.🌍🌎

She’s committed to using music as a conduit for exploring society and culture, with a particular focus on African and Global South narratives. 🗣
This is clear in projects like her 2020 documentary 'Assurance', which explored the experiences of female DJs in Nigeria and her subsequent Assurance Podcast series and compilation with expanded the topic to female DJs & Producers across the Global South.🔬

With a highly acclaimed mixes for the likes of HÖR and Boiler Room , plus her 'Mix Of The Year' for Fact Magazine, according to Resident Advisor, Juba is charachterised by her seamless genre blurring blends, ethervescent energy behind the decks and ability to bring a room to boiling point. 🥵🥵🥵

Say hallo to the next DJ on our line up aka RIP Swirl 🙌🏼
The enigmatic Berlin-based producer & DJ RIP Swirl exists at the solitary ends of experimental dance music. 🥷🏻

Since 2019 he’s been part of the Public Possession family and has shared the stage with the likes of Nosaj Thing & Ross From Friends. His productions have gathered acclaim from the likes of i-D, Highsnobiety & NOWNESS and his DJ sets have seen him play with the likes on Einhundert & Club Heart Broken to name but a few. 📀

RIP Swirl, is very much about showcasing his ability to make music beyond genre boundaries and we can’t wait for him to share his craft with us on Friday! 🪄

Time to say hi to Liliane Chlela, the absolute queen crowning our 27th Jan lineup.🦜

Liliane Chlela is a DJ, Producer, and performer from Beirut, who is known for pushing the boundaries of sound & movement across Lebanon, the Middle East/West Asia and North Africa. 🇱🇧

Widely known in electronic and experimental scenes for her unique, audacious and often improvisational approach to sound, as well as her interest in fashion film, audiovisuals and performance art, the now Montreal-based artist is lauded as one of the most multifaceted female artists across the Levant region. 🪄
Liliane has three highly acclaimed albums under her belt and has produced with the likes of Mashrou’ Leila’s Hamed Sinno & Khyam Allami, proving herself not just as a fierce solo artist, but as a prolific collaborator.⚔️

Dig deep inside Liliane Chlela’s music and you’ll find relentless, dark electronic beats, riveting club beats, percussive intensity and rhythms that represent all corners of the earth, with a departure point in the Middle East🌍. We really can’t wait for her to charm one of Berlin's principal dancefloors next week. 👑

Say hi to Bloomfeld🦇

Bloomfeld is a DJ & Producer who researches & documents innovative momentums across all domains of cultural production.

His own music, digital art, and performance aim at expanding the intersection of ethno-futurist braindance and functional/hedonistic club heat.🧠

Bloomfeld also runs the Overthinker Mob research imprint💭, among many other missions, which rejects conventional formats for releasing music by anonymously putting out unfinished or overthought tracks.

When he isn’t subverting music industry standards, he dedicates himself to radio projects in Germany and the UK, and has held a residency on Rinse FM with his “Culture vs. Reality“ show. 📡

To Bloomfeld existence is a cosmic joke, but while he’s here he’s committed to making sense of it through music. 🧩
