We're happy to have Dr. Alexander Mattausch/ Chief Expert Software Architecture at Elektrobit, as one of our distinguished speakers, with years of deep industry expertise.

Dr. Alexander Mattausch is Chief Expert Software Architecture at Elektrobit. He focuses on embedded operating systems, software integration and functional safety. After his PhD in theoretical solid state physics at the University of Erlangen-Nürnberg he joined Elektrobit and led the development of an ASIL-D certified AUTOSAR operating system and focused later on the operating system infrastructure of automotive HPC systems. He is the author of numerous publications in scientific and automotive journals and computer magazines such as c’t.

MEET OUR SPEAKER!!!

We are pleased to welcome Violetta Matzoros, Senior Technical Manager, Digitalisation & Decarbonization, at Smart Freight Centre as our speaker in the Supply Chain Sustainability and Decarbonization Forum.

Violetta Matzoros is a Senior Technical Manager for Digitalisation and Decarbonisation at Smart Freight Centre (SFC), a global NGO accelerating the decarbonization of freight transportation.

She specializes in emissions accounting, data standards, and interoperability.

At SFC, she leads international initiatives on emissions data exchange, including the development and implementation of iLEAP, an open protocol for emissions data exchange.

Prior to joining SFC, Violetta worked in logistics and sustainability analytics, including roles focused on logistics performance, emissions analysis, procurement, and business decision support. Earlier in her career, she worked as a research engineer in operations planning.

She holds a MSc degree in Mechanical Engineering from the University of Patras and a MSc degree in Engineering and Policy Analysis from Delft University of Technology.

Meet Our Speaker!

We are excited to welcome Oltis Dallto, Agri Pv Manager at JUWI Group Energie, as he will be sharing his knowledge at the 5th Annual Agrivoltaics Europe.

Oltis Dallto, holding degrees in Environmental and Forestry Sciences, Civil Engineering and Business Management, joined JUWI in 2023 as an agrivoltaic manager.

His primary focus was developing and documenting Agri-PV company standards for Italy, guiding implementation, and fostering collaborations with key stakeholders.

He is focusing now on the agricultural activities’ compliance of JUWI'S Agri-PV projects, providing advisory and supporting the Project development team, investigating, and performing light and agricultural yield simulations.

He is participating also in several activities in collaboration with the most important institute of research and part of the team that deals with pilot projects in Germany.

Key figure of the international and multidisciplinary Task Force Team for Agri-PV created in JUWI with the main task to investigate on the feasibility, economics, and finance of Advanced Agri-PV projects, in collaboration with several other Departments as Supply Chain, EPC, O&M etc.

He is also one of the responsible for global Agri-PV portfolio management, he assesses R&D activities, recommends strategies, and conducts market analysis for JUWI's renewable energy projects.

We are pleased to welcome Pankaj Bhatia, GHG Measurement Expert, at World Resources Institute, as our speaker in the Supply Chain Sustainability and Decarbonization Forum.

Pankaj Bhatia is Global Director of the GHG Protocol at the World Resources Institute (WRI), where he has led the development and global adoption of GHG accounting standards for nearly two decades.

Under his leadership, the GHG Protocol launched the Scope 3, Scope 2, and Land Sector & Removals standards, and secured adoption by ISO, ISSB, the US-SEC, and EU-EFRAG. He currently serves on the technical council of SBTi and holds degrees in engineering from IIT Delhi and IIT Varanasi.

We're happy to have Ioannis Sorokos/ Senior Researcher/ Project Manager at Fraunhofer IESE, as one of our distinguished speakers, with years of deep industry expertise.

Dr. Ioannis Sorokos is a senior researcher at the Fraunhofer Institute for Experimental Software Engineering (IESE) in the department of Safety Engineering. He received his PhD from the University of Hull in a topic related to model-based safety assurance.

He has participated in and managed several industry and international research projects, including the Horizon Europe projects DEIS, BIECO and SESAME.

He's a member of the WAISE workshop program committee. He is currently part of the German national automotive project for safety assurance of autonomous driving systems, CONTROL.

His research interests include model-based safety assurance, safety-security co-engineering, Machine Learning uncertainty and self-adaptive systems.
