What an incredible honor to play RAVE THE PLANET Berlin this past Saturday—the successor to the legendary Love Parade (known as the biggest rave in history)— with my Eartha Harris project alongside my partner Klopfgeister This year saw 300,000 attendees and 30 parade trucks as we rode along the stretch between the historic and the legendary
Even more incredible to me as an American is that a huge portion of the attendees appeared 40+ in age, with what looked like a solid 50% over age 50, which makes perfect sense considering GenX created and pioneered the original raves - something that we in America seem to forget ;)
It was a sweltering 97 degrees, but the people came out and danced anyway, with reportedly very few medical incidents. Very thankful for Goanautika for this wonderful opportunity to perform on their parade truck, and I will be remembering this moment for a very long time 🫶
