An engaging taste, the meeting of emotions and discovery of an alchemy between earth, art, history and passion: this is the synthesis of the first event of Wine Sharing in Prague, organized by ASPI and dedicated to the prestigious winery Villa Rinaldi: in a suggestive atmosphere for the elegance of details and the harmony of spaces, the sommelier Giuliana Dalla Longa presented four excellent sparkling wines, creating with the guests a spontaneous discussion on sensory emotions. The labels that were tasted fully represent the Pinot Noir’s personality that changes its appearance: Spumante Suprême enchanted for the solemn characters and refined, seductive bouquet; Cuvée Imperiale, more austere in the body, with an intense persistence and distinctive signs of toasting; the Rosé di Barricaia, unique among the rosé wines, with an elegant and intense flavor; finally, the Dolce di Cremé, whose sophisticated sweetness has enchanted an audience that is not used to the consumption of this kind of sparkling wines.

Un coinvolgente assaggio, l'incontro di emozioni e la scoperta di un'alchimia tra terra, tecnica, storia e grande passione: questa la sintesi del primo evento di Wine Sharing a Praga, organizzato da ASPI e dedicato alla prestigiosa maison Villa Rinaldi: in un ambiente di grande suggestione per l’eleganza dei dettagli e l’armonia degli spazi, la sommelier Giuliana Dalla Longa ha presentato quattro spumanti d’eccellenza, dando vita, con gli ospiti presenti, ad una spontanea discussione sulle emozioni sensoriali. Le etichette proposte rappresentano appieno la personalità del pinot nero che muta la sua veste: lo Spumante Suprême ha incantato per la trama solenne ed il bouquet raffinato e seducente; la Cuvée Imperiale, più austero nel corpo e dall'intensa persistenza con distintivi richiami di tostatura; il Rosé di Barricaia, unico nel panorama dei rosé, per l'elegante ed intenso volume gusto-olfattivo; infine il Dolce di Cremé, la cui sofisticata dolcezza ha incantato un pubblico non usualmente solito al consumo di spumanti in tali versioni.

HOW TO LOVE WINE MORE

We all love (good) wine! Sure, but how to love it better, that is to say, be able to taste it with more discern-ment, learning about its cultivation and vinification techniques, enjoy its various typologies and origins, store it and serve it well?

This is the aim of our practical “seminar”, playful and convivial, led by Piero Canopoli, one of the best sommeliers, winemaker and viticulturist of Italy, that ASPI would like to offer to all its friends in order to share and increase…our love for wine.

PROGRAM

Language: Italian with simultaneous English translation

1st day: Wine Tasting rules, general principles.

Visual, olfactory and gustatory analysis. Tasting of three Italian wines.

2nd day: Sensorial Analysis: sparkling wine, white wine, red wine, raisin wine, hints to viticulture.

3rd day: Technical Matching Wine/food (fish-meat-mushrooms-cheese).

Tasting in combination of four different types of wines.

The Czech branch of ASPI (the Italian Association of professional sommeliers), launches the “Wine sharing” project. Superb bottles from special vintages are available for tasting for up to 15 people in an exclusive and picturesque location. This is a unique opportunity for wine lovers to discover the emotions of rare or unusual labels. Each event will be presented by a professional sommelier who will explain the features, narrate the story and expertly guide you in the wine tasting.

The first meeting will be dedicated to the prestigious sparkling wines from “Villa Rinaldi”, timeless masterpieces of elegance, harmony and refinement, where we celebrate the ripening of the grapes and a passion for a thin and creamy perlage. The winery Villa Rinaldi has a long history: established in the late nineteenth century by Marcello Rinaldi (whose heirs still run the company), from 60’s it has coined his own style through research of elegant grape varieties Chardonnay and Pinot Noir Atesini and the reintroduction of ancient and rigorous winemaking practices such as long refinement of the base wines in French oak barrels and the degorgement à la volée.
