While most couples choose Cyprus between April and October, winter weddings can be such a beautiful option too — think quieter venues, relaxed vibes, cosy celebrations and stunning sunsets without the summer heat ☀️✨

But… there are definitely a few things worth considering before booking those winter dates 👀

💭 Here’s my honest wedding planner advice:

❄️ The weather can be unpredictable between November–March
Yes, Cyprus still gets lovely mild days, but you’ll also have a higher chance of rain and cooler evenings. Always have a solid indoor backup plan!

🏛️ Some venues close for winter
A lot of venues, restaurants and tourist spots reduce opening hours or temporarily close during the quieter months — so checking availability early is super important.

🏖️ Don’t expect “summer holiday” weather
Hotel pools may be closed or unheated, and sea swimming can definitely feel a little fresh this time of year 🌊😂

✨ BUT… with the right planning, a winter wedding in Cyprus can still be absolutely magical.

The key is going in with the right expectations, flexibility and a planner who knows which venues and suppliers work best during the off-season 💕
