A Special Opening Night for the 1st Technopolis 20 Jazz Festival
Last night marked the opening of the 1st Technopolis 20 Jazz Festival in Pafos. Despite challenging weather conditions, flight changes and a last-minute change of venue due to the weather, everything came together beautifully, with the music taking centre stage and the audience warmly embracing the new festival.
The evening stood out for the quality and diversity of its musical performances, offering the audience three different sides of jazz. From the atmospheric and soulful presentation of Elly Loves Jazz, featuring the exceptional Elly Paspala alongside a distinguished group of musicians, to the energy and contemporary sound of Fuzz Bus, and the unique musical dialogue and improvisation of the Yerolatsitis/Toumazou/Kutafali/Tsangaris Quartet.
The three performances, each distinct in style, sound and approach, created a beautiful musical journey that captivated the audience and highlighted the richness and diversity of contemporary jazz.
A heartfelt thank you to all the artists, the festival team, partners and, above all, the audience, whose presence and support contributed to making this a truly special opening night.
And the jazz continues tonight! The second and final evening features the Ioanna Troullidou Quartet, Reprise Quartet, as well as Nefeli Fasouli with the Christos Yerolatsitis Trio.

Μια ξεχωριστή πρώτη βραδιά για το 1ο Technopolis 20 Jazz Festival
Χθες βράδυ πραγματοποιήθηκε η πρώτη βραδιά του 1ου Technopolis 20 Jazz Festival στην Πάφο. Παρά τις δύσκολες καιρικές συνθήκες, τις αλλαγές στις πτήσεις και την αλλαγή χώρου λόγω του καιρού, όλα τελικά πήγαν εξαιρετικά, με τη μουσική να κερδίζει τις εντυπώσεις και το κοινό να αγκαλιάζει θερμά το νέο φεστιβάλ.
Η βραδιά ξεχώρισε για την ποιότητα αλλά και τη διαφορετικότητα των μουσικών παρουσιάσεων, προσφέροντας στο κοινό τρεις διαφορετικές πλευρές της τζαζ. Από την ατμοσφαιρική και γεμάτη συναίσθημα παρουσίαση των Elly Loves Jazz, με την εξαιρετική Έλλη Πασπαλά και τους καταξιωμένους μουσικούς που τη συνόδευσαν, μέχρι την ενέργεια και τον σύγχρονο ήχο των Fuzz Bus, και την ιδιαίτερη μουσική επικοινωνία και τον αυτοσχεδιασμό του Yerolatsitis/Toumazou/Kutafali/Tsangaris Quartet.
Οι τρεις εμφανίσεις, διαφορετικές μεταξύ τους σε ύφος, ήχο και προσέγγιση, δημιούργησαν μια όμορφη μουσική διαδρομή που ενθουσίασε το κοινό και ανέδειξε τον πλούτο και την ποικιλομορφία της σύγχρονης τζαζ.
Ένα μεγάλο ευχαριστώ σε όλους τους καλλιτέχνες, την ομάδα του φεστιβάλ, τους συνεργάτες και, πάνω απ’ όλα, το κοινό, που με την παρουσία και την υποστήριξή του συνέβαλε σε μια πραγματικά ξεχωριστή πρώτη βραδιά.
Και η τζαζ συνεχίζεται απόψε! Η δεύτερη και τελευταία βραδιά φιλοξενεί το Ioanna Troullidou Quartet, το Reprise Quartet, καθώς και τη Νεφέλη Φασούλη με το Christos Yerolatsitis Trio.
