The WBC MuayThai Pre-fight Safety Weigh in Guide

These three-stage safety weigh-ins are in place to promote safe weight management before any WBC MuayThai sanctioned event. The weight limits for fighters are as follows:

β€’ 30-day weigh-in: Boxers’ weight should not exceed 10% of the weight limit for the bout.
β€’ 14-day weigh-in: Boxers’ weight should not exceed 5% of the weight limit for the bout.
β€’ 7-day weigh-in: Boxers’ weight should not exceed 3% of the weight limit for the bout.

Should a fighter exceed any of these weight limitations, the WBC MuayThai may, in the interest of the fighters’ safety or that of their opponent, choose to revoke or deny its sanction of the bout.

The 𝐂π₯𝐚𝐬𝐑 𝐨𝐟 π‹πžπ πžπ§ππ¬ press conference took place today at the outdoor promenade at Bangkok’s Icon Siam with boxing superstar Manny Pacquiao and MuayThai icon Buakaw Banchamek coming face to face to talk about and promote their upcoming western boxing showdown which will take place on January 24 in Bangkok.

The World Boxing Council is delighted to announce a unique WBC legends ceremonial belt for the event and that WBC rules and regulations will be in place for the much-anticipated contest.

Both former legends of their respective sports today received WBC bracelets during the presser. Buakaw is a former WBC MuayThai Diamond champion – Manny is a former multi-weight WBC champion of the world.

Muay thai for me belongs to the thai people ...

Just came home from my therapy and saw this news .

I would like to be clear .

WBC MT is about loving muay thai we are are about promoting safe ,very technical training and great fights in the ring , a benchmark ranking system for all levels .

Promoting the green and gold giving athletes opportunities, supporting athletes clubs etc from beginners to pro players ,

I will be back strong from Sept

Anyway This news item came out today

As the saying goes ,focus on your work work hard ,do good for god for people ,family community .
