Enabling MENA's innovation ecosystem Changelabs was founded to help impact-centered entrepreneurs in MENA succeed.

We achieve this by designing and running some of the region's leading entrepreneurship programs, in partnership with development organizations, governments, and the private sector. Our learning programs are unique in that they all seek to achieve social and developmental outcomes while supporting entrepreneurs. And we’re off! This Startup kickoff marks the beginning of the SCSP journey 🚀

The SCSP program officially begins with the 2026 Corporate Kick Off & CVC Masterclass 🚀

We launched the Programme by welcoming our corporate partners and guests for the Corporate Kickoff, followed by an exclusive Corporate Venture Capital (CVC) Masterclass by Significa, exploring how strategic partnerships between corporates and startups can accelerate climate innovation.

5 months ago, Changelabs helped partner 11 of Egypt’s top tech scale-ups with 10 of Raya Holding for Financial Investments ’ business units, under the RAYA Strategic Investment Program.

Last February, some of those same startups took centre stage at FutureTech by Raya - delivering 1-minute elevator pitches (yes, the giant elevator in the background was intentional) in front of 150+ corporates, investors, and ecosystem leaders.

Meanwhile, our Head of Growth, Zeyad Samra, was on the ground actively connecting startups with investors from our network - facilitating 24 investor introductions, resulting in 8 investor meetings.

At , our role goes beyond “connecting startups to corporates.”
We build the structure that makes those connections actually work.

Over the past months, we worked closely with both sides to:

1. Translate RAYA's 10 business unit needs into opportunities.
2. Prepare the 11 scale-ups for effective engagement with RAYA.
3. Facilitate 2 pilots, 12 demos, 5 investment NDAs, and 19 partnership discussions.

📚 Module 2 is done - and the room delivered.

This February, we wrapped the second module of the Risk Management Training series under InsurGrow Gahez w Amen, our program with GIZ dedicated to strengthening the capabilities of Egypt's insurance sector.

Led by Mohamed Fathi of RMC, the session brought together risk engineers and underwriters from some of Egypt's top insurance companies for a deep dive into expert-led, practical risk management - the kind of knowledge that doesn't just sit in a classroom.

With every module, we're building something bigger: a stronger, more resilient insurance industry that's ready for what's next.
