EVOHK (est.2020) is an independent artist—run space based in Larnaca, Cyprus.It is constantly shifting form and function to support an open framework for experimentation, collaboration and dialogue between the artist and society across a broad spectrum of disciplines. EVOHK designs and facilitates art exhibitions, music and theatre performances, film screenings, workshops and artist talks, interac

tive and cultural meetings, pop-up shows etc. Our mission is to nurture collective creative thinking and practice, to build active networks for collaboration and dialogue and to promote contemporary and traditional artistic production in the city and abroad.

🎵 Copper Curios is a duet consisting of Demetris Yiasemides and Eva Stavrou. Their music is influenced by contemporary classical music, electronic music as well as free improvisation. A soundscape of natural and electronic sounds is used as a base for the two musicians to create and evolve their ideas. Flute ambient sounds, interlocking melodies, trombone drones, hypnotic chorales and electronic beats all melt together to create Copper Curios’s soundwrold. A sonic journey through time.

Archaeology of Touch ~ Ελάτε να δημιουργήσουμε με πηλό, εμπνευσμένοι από τα εκθέματα του Αρχαιολογικού Μουσείου. Μικροί και μεγάλοι πειραματίζονται με το υλικό, δίνουν μορφή στις ιδέες τους και μέσα από την αφή και τη χειρονομία, συνδέονται με την ιστορία με έναν άμεσο και προσωπικό τρόπο, φέρνοντας σε διάλογο τη σύγχρονη εμπειρία με την αρχαία υλικότητα. Ο πηλός λειτουργεί ως μέσο έκφρασης, πειραματισμού και σύνδεσης με τον χρόνο και το μουσείο γίνεται ένας κοινός χώρος εμπειρίας, συμμετοχής και δημιουργίας.
