Michaela & Hunter said yes to Costa Rica, and then they went all the way in. Surfboard seating chart. Bamboo chairs. Floral columns so tall and wild they almost look like they grew there. Amber glasses catching the last of the afternoon light at every table.

The ocean didn't need decorating, but the rest of this? Pure intention.💕

I spent way too long arranging those wooden beads and I have zero regrets. This was one of those setups where every single thing came from somewhere, the bottles filled with beach sand, the macramé napkin rings I sourced from an artisan in Guanacaste, the pampas that was still swaying when guests sat down.

A canopy with fringe, floor cushions, teak tables low to the ground. The perfect setting to bring people together over good wine, framed by the lush jungle. 💕

Some evenings on this coast feel almost too good to be real.

Nico, the water, the light doing that honey-gold thing it does here around 5 pm, this is just a Friday evening for us. Salt in our hair, no shoes, the whole Pacific in front of us. This is the life we built here, and I fall in love with it over and over again.

I know what it means to be completely held by a place. And Costa Rica holds you like nowhere else.

Val and Dave, thank you for seeing my family the way you see every couple I bring to you. These photos are something I will keep forever!

Anna & Ethan's day at Bahía del Sol had everything I love: vows on the beach with the Pacific stretching out behind them, a reception lawn that felt like it was built for exactly this kind of evening, and that golden Guanacaste light doing what it always does.💕

When the florals are so good you just keep walking down the table taking photos. Orchids, gerberas, lilies, anthurium, each arrangement slightly different, like a garden just decided to grow there.

The woven placemats, the painted palm plates, the lavender napkins. Every little thing was chosen. That's the part of my job I'll never get tired of!💕🌴
