Still not sure how we got so lucky…. Happy Father’s Day to the best out there. We are grateful for you and your endless patience, mad cooking skills, ability to build anything we throw at you, for the way you continually ground us and hold us -- no matter what life throws at us. The last year has brought extra challenges, but you always step up to the plate, no matter what. We are beyond grateful for the life we have built together - and would not want to do this life with anyone else. You are the best husband and the best Dad we could have ever asked for. Also acknowledging those who today is complicated for… Today is a bittersweet as it marks 9 years since we lost my own Dad. We miss him more today than we could ever imagine. Happy fathers day to those Dad’s are in heaven, those who are father figures and those who have complicated relationships with and around their Dads. Sending love 💓

Today, instead of a Happy Anniversary Post, we are doing a Happy Birthday Post! My fascination with butterflies is thanks to my amazing Aunt Sharron. When I was very little, she declared that she did not want to be referred to as an “ant” and preferred something more suitable to her personality. From that day forward, we all began affectionately calling her Butterfly Sharron. Through the years, we have often exchanged butterfly adorned items and learned more about their symbolism. She has lived the most incredible life - really book or movie worthy. Growing up, I loved nothing more than to hear all of her stories about all of her crazy adventures.

Today, we celebrate her 89th birthday!!! We wish her an amazing day, and an even better year, as she begins her 90th year on this earth. She has always been a strong, independent woman, class act and a full-on explorer. She has been an inspiration to myself and my sisters, and we feel incredibly blessed to have grown up with such a powerful role model! Happy Birthday Butterfly! You are loved and appreciated more than you could ever know!!
