You don’t have to follow them. 🤍
In honor of my 3-year wedding anniversary, here’s how we made our wedding OURS.

Your Wedding, Your Rules
First things first…
This is YOUR wedding.
You can keep traditions, change them, or completely skip them.

Sparkler ENTRANCE
Who says sparklers have to be for the exit? ✨

We knew our party would go until 2 AM, and we weren’t stopping a packed dance floor for a photo.

So we did our sparkler moment during our grand entrance instead.

Goodbye Traditional Bouquet Toss
We reinvented the bouquet toss. 💐

Everyone held a ribbon attached to my bouquet and danced around me while I cut the ribbons one by one.

Last ribbon standing = the bouquet!

So much more fun and interactive.

Our First Dance
Our first dance wasn’t just about the two of us. 🤍

Halfway through, we brought our kids onto the dance floor.

After 15 years together, they are such a huge part of US. We wanted that moment to include them.

No Groomsmen
I had bridesmaids.
My husband had no groomsmen.

Did it have to be perfectly even and symmetrical? Nope.
We did what worked for us.

We Invested in the PARTY
Our priority was the guest experience. 🔥

✨ Production + lighting
✨ LED screens synced with the music
✨ Light-up dance floor
✨ Hora Loca entertainment
✨ Props + shots + nonstop energy

We wanted people on that dance floor!

We Skipped Parent Dances
No traditional father/daughter or mother/son dances.

Instead, we honored our parents by having both sets of parents walk us down the aisle.

That was the tradition that felt meaningful to us.

No Speeches
We skipped the speeches. 🥂

We gave our guests a brief welcome and thank you…

Then it was time to CELEBRATE.

Beautiful tradition? Absolutely.
Necessary? Nope.

The Takeaway
3 years later…

People still tell us:
“That was the BEST wedding ever.”

Not because we followed every tradition.

Because our wedding felt like US.

Designing for the boys is always a fun challenge—how do we make it feel elevated without becoming too delicate or too childish?

For this race car–inspired Bar Mitzvah Kiddush luncheon, the answer was all in the details. Clean lines, sleek clear and silver bud vases, bold red stems, and custom photo cubes elevated on tall acrylic stands brought just the right amount of personality into the synagogue hall.

The result was simple, clean and masculine, yet still made a statement.

Proof that impactful design doesn’t always have to mean more—it just has to be intentional. 🏁
