This Saturday, June 28, party to a good cause at 2Kolegas. "Sounds of Fear“ is a charity festival created with the intention of raising awareness of the violence committed against women. Featuring 11 DJs, 3 bands and 14 artists to excite your senses, all proceeds (ticket & t-shirt sales, raffles etc.) will help Natalia Ponce pay for the multiple surgeries she needs in order to recover from a brutal attack in which an as***le, scumbag threw acid directly on her face. She is like a sister to our Colombian friend John, the organizer of this event. Have a great time and support a worthwhile cause!

Breaking news! 2Kolegas has ordered a swimming pool for its outdoor lawn this summer! No joke! Evidence will be posted as soon as it arrives! (it will presumably look something like the accompanying pic LOL). Watching the Cup final on a large projection screen from an outdoor swimming pool anyone?

What do you get when you take three kick-ass electro-rock bands, dump them at a rock n’ roll bar in a drive-in-cinema and crank up the mic? Big Dance Rock Night, that’s what!!! Don’t miss Residence A, Da Bang and The Big Wave at 2Kolegas this Friday the 13th (ooooh!).

Da Bang, one of China’s few, powerful female-fronted electronic/indie/disco-punk bands, kicks off 2Kolegas’s dance rock night on June 13. Often compared to the Yeah Yeah Yeahs, Da Bang is known to put on an edgy and energetic live show.

Joining them will be The Big Wave, an electronic rock trio described as a mix of Joy Division and Kraftwerk, who’ve been influenced by the likes of Gang of Four, New Order and Depeche Mode.

Finally, Residence A hardly needs an introduction these days; their popularity has torpedoed through the proverbial roof. Although the band is commonly described as Britrock, that description doesn’t do their addictive, danceable, disco tunes any justice. You have to see/hear them to fully appreciate how f*ckin’ great they are.

And for those with enough sobriety to continue dancing after the live shows, DJ MasterRay will be on hand to unleash more musical mayhem.
